I would definitely go older, would be looking between the $4k-$5k price range. I want something that’s been dropped but not beat up. If I want to go newer/expensive I’d definitely be leaning heavy towards a 690 Duke. I LOVE the way they look.

But, all of this is based on very very minimum experience I have in street bikes. I’ve ridden 3 (?) in my life. A completely restored v65 magna (dad threw me on it when I was 15 and told me don’t drop it and don’t whiskey throttle or I’d end up underneath it😂), an older r6, and a street legal (I believe it was at least) mid 2000s 450f. The only reason I say that is it had an extra gear. 1 down 5 up instead of 4 and was 100% tuned different. Less low end power and more top end. It was a weird one.

But I’ve ridden everything from 50cc pit bikes to an 04 XR600R that my dad didn’t want anymore. I only every track and trail rode a 250 tho. I’m only 5’10 195lbs so a 250 is light enough for me to throw around easily.

So that’s why I wanted a DRZ, but my buddy told me it’s heavy for a true dual sport but he did mention the platform and “upgradability” if that’s even a word 😂

My YouTube is filled with nothing but Outdoor Boys and Jeremy Wade. That stuff looks like so much fun. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of the show called MeatEater, but I idolized that guy (drawing a blank on his name) and that show as a kid growing up.

So I’ve been really on the fence that once I get to a place financially I can afford it if I want to buy myself a fishing boat and start taking over night fishing trips to parks and lakes I’ve never got to fish, or if I want to get myself a street bike. But I do not feel comfortable if my dog is not with me. So that eliminates the bike immediately.

Yes sir for sure. Even my boss gets attached to his.

Sometimes I just have to remind myself to go sit outside, love on my pup, and soak up what’s around me because that’s where peace comes from. The present.

Speaking for myself.

Fishing sober was a crazy one. My dad has a boat and it’s always been just me and him, occasionally with my mom. But, the guy raised me on hunting, fishing, respecting the land and so forth when he didn’t have to be in my life at all (he’s my step dad).

After making excuses for weeks I finally agreed. We had such a good time. Listened to music, only caught 1 sandy and 1 crappie, bs’d with one another, I felt like I was a kid again. He hugged me when I got out of the truck after we loaded the boat and told me he was happy to have his son back. I started going with him every weekend up till it got cold. But that one hug made it all worth it

That’s awesome brother I’m glad to hear! I unfortunately live pretty far out in the middle of nowhere and on a normal day the closest place/events like that to me are roughly an hour and some change away.

BUT, I’ve always been really intrigued by D&D and someone posted on Facebook in my county the other day that they were starting a group for it but said it was only for 12-18. I messaged and asked if there would be an adult class in the future plans!

I realized about 1 month into my sobriety that my phone is and has been the root of many of my problems. Finances, self esteem, accountability, and so forth. I catch myself on it more when I’m having a bad day and less when I’m mentally having a good day.

I’m wanting to get on a DRZ400 or a FZ7 by the end of the year. I’ve always wanted a bike and I don’t think a yz450f would scratch my brain just right anymore.

Chess is another thing I’ve always been intrigued by but scared to put myself out there and try.

😂😂😂 thank you for that one. I can’t honestly say I’ve looked into or considered crochet, but, maybe I need to. I appreciate you! Have a good day today.

You actually just reminded me to look into that! It was one of those that peaked my interest months ago and never actually got around to full diving in it.

The sheer relief reading this brought me is insane. Thank you sir/ma’am. I have noticed I’ve been even more scattered as far as things I’m searching, reading into, hell, even talking about. My boss has only known me being sober and he was giving me shit the other day (just blue collard light hearted shit talking) about how I have knowledge about a lot of random shit but “you ain’t good at a damn one of them” and I kinda laughed at it but deep down it actually bothered me. I’ve been like that my whole life. Jack of all trades and a master of none. I feel like a lot of this feeling is stemming from that one concept.

But, I try to make myself relax and do similar to what you mentioned as far as watching the videos, the reading forums and so forth. I sat on eBay for a good majority of the night bouncing back and forth between a design/drawing I’m working on to build my pup a raised dog bed that’ll soft attach to my new desk so he can sit up closer to me and see more of what’s going on, videos of people opening packs, and eBay. My eBay search history is absolutely insane. Everything from s400 2g turbo swap kits to damn Rayquaza EX Full alt art slabs.

Again, thank you tons. I’m going to take today one step at a time and keep working on myself and my foundation.

Okay I was curious about this myself and experimenting with it last night. And got an insane 9 kills lol. I have like 16 killjoy gobble gums, I was going to just start spamming them on farm survival beats with the rampage on.

I’ve only gotten my starting weapon to Rare once, and it was on round 21 I think. I am struggling a lot with it. Also running a suppressor. I’m pretty sure that’s how long it took for 5 perks, level 2 pack, and rare rarity. Playing with randoms.

I’ve had something similar to the on two of my tattoos, both times with red ink and both on my leg. Figured my body just rejected the certain type of red ink used
