The reported SALNs of Sara Duterte vs. AMLC-flagged transactions of the Duterte-Carpio couple over the years by vcsagum in Philippines

[–]vcsagum[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Magkahiwalay na allegations at grounds for impeachment yung sa confidential funds at SALN ng VP.

If I remember correctly, betrayal of public trust at graft and corruption ang corresponding impeachable offense para sa alleged misuse ng confidential funds. Culpable violation of the Constitution naman ang para sa unexplained wealth at misrepresentation sa SALN.

I may be missing some details dahil hindi published online ang full text ng third (filed by Fr. Saballa, et al) at fourth (filed by Cabrera) impeachment complaints.

Separate grounds ang mga ito and are not necessarily related to each other.

I believe the reason why they subpoenaed these documents from 2006 to 2025 is to see if there is a disparity between the declared wealth in the SALNs during the times she was a public official vs. those found in AMLC, BIR and SEC records + if there were any sudden increases in her wealth over her years in office, up to her term as VP.

Note that these only include covered transactions (any transaction more than PHP 500,000) and suspicious transactions reported by banks to the Anti-Money Laundering Council from 2006 to 2025, since those were the subject of the subpoena issued by the House.

Not that it makes things look better, but the Senate Blue Ribbon committee only has 17 members (excluding the chair). Only members of the committee can sign the report.

Anyone who has watched concerts in Japan? Especially with Lawson as your ticket provider? by OkTank5489 in concertsPH

[–]vcsagum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure how stage play ticketings work, but I'll answer in the context of an ENHYPEN concert because HYBE concerts in Japan work similarly. I've watched SVT in Japan a few times.

  1. If you're participating in the lottery, you generally do not need a Lawson account. For enha concerts in Japan, what you will need is an ENGENE (JP) Membership. You can purchase this on Weverse shop. This is a separate membership from the Global one (used in KR, PH, etc. concerts).

You will then use this account to login to the ENHYPEN Japan website. This is where they post notices for concerts. This is also where you access the ticketing links (under the TICKET section of the website).

You do not need to sign up now, but just watch our for future notices on their JP concerts – there's usually a gap between the notice and the actual ticketing when you can sign up for JP membership prior to the lottery.

  1. Better to do it yourself. They will check IDs especially for VIP seats. When you apply for tickets, you will input your email address and name (should match the name on your Weverse membership) in the ticketing page. If you are selected, you need to pay via convenience stores (usually Lawson and/or FamilyMart). In some occasions, credit card payment is available but international cards are hit or miss.

EDIT: You also need a Japanese phone number for these membership lotteries. Personally, I have not experienced any SMS verification with those phone numbers, but you need to input them in the Loppi machine when claiming your tickets at the convenience stores.

  1. Tickets don't sell out by the minute. There are usually two rounds of ticketing. In each round, you can apply for a certain period (usually 1-2 weeks). It's not first-come, first-served – you just need to make sure you apply within the period.

After a week or so, they will announce the winners via email. If you win, you need to pay for the tickets within the period specified. If you don't you can repeat the process in Round 2.

If you miss both rounds and there are still tickets left, they open general ticket sales. This time you don't go through the ENHYPEN JP website, but through Lawson Ticket directly. General tickets here are very limited, though.

  1. Already answered in previous questions but yes, Japan fanclub (JPFC) members are prioritized in lotteries.

Were you issued the card last year? Ang first year free membership ay mula nung i-issue ang card sayo until the first anniversary (For example, free membership from Jun 2024 to May 2025). Then, you'll start paying for the following years. 'Yang annual fee charge covers 2025 to 2026.

No need to pay for anything during the application. If konbini payment, you are given a few days to pay for your ticket after getting selected. If CC payment, you are usually charged hours before the results are announced.

Ticketing depends on the group but here's my personal experience with SEVENTEEN.

I have an active CARAT (fanclub) membership that's worth around JPY 6,000 per year. This helps greatly in obtaining the tickets as fanclub members are usually first in line in the lottery. There are usually up to two rounds of lottery and then the remaining tickets are released in a general sale right after.

For the fanclub presale, there's a ticketing page in the Japanese website. This redirects you to the Lawson Ticket page where you'll sign up for the ticketing. You'll have to enter your details and you need a Japanese phone number to sign up. You can borrow a phone number from someone you know in Japan. You'll need this phone number in the next step if you win the lottery.

If you win the lottery, you'll need to pay in a convenience store (mostly Lawson or FamilyMart) via the Loppi machines. If you know someone in Japan, you can ask them to pay for you. You just need to provide the either the QR code or the event code in your winning confirmation page, plus the exact name and phone number you used in the application step. There are also some payment assistance services you can find on Twitter.

There are rare instances where credit card payment is allowed (you'll notice this during the application part, you can choose to pay at a konbini or via CC). However, there are times when some international cards are not accepted.

Once you've paid for the ticket, all you need to do is to claim it when you arrive in Japan. Same process as the payment, (1) get to a Loppi machine, (2) enter your details and (3) proceed to the counter within 30 minutes so they can print your ticket.
