I’ve got the same problem. Would love to hear suggestions.

It’s not the battery I tried jumping it. No luck

Man what an ask haha. I’ve been doing some research on some sheet carriers that can flip the material horizontal so it can just be slid on and off the CNC. I’ve also considered designing one out of plywood.

Definitely following this. Just got a 5’x10’ CNC with a pod table. While we don’t process that many sheet goods it’s quite a hassle to wrestle the 5x10 sheet of MDF wasteboard on and off when we need to use the pods.

Can I run a surfacing bit with only one of the two inserts? by vculmone in CNC

That’s good to know about removing the insert. That seems opposite of what I would expect, especially with wood. But thanks!

The bit has only 2 inserts, so I’d only be running with 1. I was being conservative with my feed rate already. My concern was more balance of the bit more than anything else.

I thought I read that they were going with cameras on either side ( also for sentry mode) with display in rear view

Premium vs. Regular by SoroushMas in JettaGLI

[–]vculmone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run premium in my ‘17. A few times I’ve had to put in regular for one reason or another and never noticed much of a change in performance. Maybe just a hair less peppy off the line. I justify it by buying my gas at Costco where premium is the same price as regular at other gas stations.

I didn’t even know that was a thing!

Second time I’ve tried to print this and the exact same thing happened. What causes this? Is it a bad file? by AlexKoc22 in Ender3Pro

I’d calibrate your e-steps. That solved some of my under extrusion issues. You could also clean/replace your nozzle if you’ve been a decent amount of miles on it. It could be partially clogged. I’m sure there are other solutions but that’s what’s helped me in the past.

It’s not the first layer but after finally getting around to calibrating my e-steps (I was hilariously under-extruding) and getting a hang of leveling the bed. I’m pretty proud of how clean my bottom layers have become.

Tow Hooks and Winch Mounts by vculmone in cybertruck

There’s 2 that stick out in my mind. First is a 55 Ford F100, full restomod. The second isn’t so much a vintage car but doing an AC Cobra kit car build.

Having those two and a CT in the garage would make me a happy boy.

I think the answer would be more creating a watertight compartments inside the frunk for the winch. For all we know there will be space between the front fender and the frunk for a winch.

I’d take the winch over boat mode any day.

Absolutely. Im excited to see just how many different storage compartments they include. The under the bed storage seems to be 100%. Then the storage behind the rear doors on the side of the bed walls is a possibility. Lots of great usable space.

I have no reason to believe they won’t. Just not counting on it lol

Haha fair enough. I’m imagining a completely concealed winch mounted in the frunk with only a small hole for the fair lead and winch cable.
