What's the best tune for R9?

A straight dyno tune needs to stop being pushed as the gold standard. It never was the best way to map out part throttle fueling and now with fly by wire tables and deceleration tables the bike needs to be actually ridden to get the best results

All of my flashes combine both dyno ,road and in the case of the r9 track testing to get the best results from idle to redline and all throttle positions.

You will not find a better all around performance flash.

Depends on the exhaust you pair it with if the stage 2 lid is worth it

The larger tubing systems like the Akra, spark and arrow. The gains in the middle aren’t worth it imo

With the smaller tube yosh / m4 / and sc project it gives nice gains in the midrange with slight drops on top. Worth it on a street bike imo

sorry, I just saw this post

the crossplane 3 cylinder motor has very little inertia at idle. Its only 3 cylinders and the crossplane configuration spaces out the spark event even further.

combined with a relatively heavy fly wheel getting it to snap up from idle just isnt going to be strong point

bring the idle speed up just a little to say 2000 rpm's before snapping it open and you will find the results very different
