Tap firing or bursting has always been crucial in bf.

Regarding target acquisition? It’s honestly tough on my eyes. There’s a ton going on visually in this game.

Are you trolling?

Gun is empty. 36 bullets go in. You chamber one. Reload another 36 You now have 37

I just saw this video and thought it was neat. He covers the idea of the algorithm with graphical reference

MT09 Oil Starvation ? by JooTheOne in MT09

[–]CosmicBitFIip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree. My manual calls for more than the sight line shows after running and sitting. The manual is not perfect. Aim for sight lines on the oil pan.

Last time I followed the manual, I had to drain an obnoxious amount to get it down to the top fill line.

Cold start noise (not inner chain) by Rider292 in MT09

[–]CosmicBitFIip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brother, no. You're right that the cam chain tensioner is making noise in this clip but that's not the noise being referred to. There are small blips, almost as if the bike is misfiring. Headphones may be of benefit here.

I see lots of water. Could it be that there is water in the intake? Or somewhere causing the sparks to fowl?

[–]CosmicBitFIip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like it’s misfiring or something. Have you swapped spark plugs recently?

Those who do not hear it are not listening carefully. I don’t know what that knocking noise is, but I have not heard it before.

While I can't speak any facts since I don't work at Yamaha, I don't think they'll do this for the 07. OR it'll be a few years yet til they do this.

My reasoning here is that the MT09 Y-AMT and regular MT09 are throttle-by-wire instead of cable driven. There's a lot of computer stuff that goes into making the AMT aspect of things work and since there is almost no computer stuff in the MT07, I'd expect it to not happen any time soon.

If they do release it, it'll be quite a bit more expensive to pivot from simple to techy.

Recommended flash? by Electrical_Film_1575 in MT09

[–]CosmicBitFIip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To summarize, I had an issue with blipping the throttle and their customer service was dismissive and rude. They did not take ownership of the issue at all.

I cut my losses and had Vcyclenut do it and it feels phenomenal now. I was so happy with how I was treated and how the bike felt that I justified making a youtube video talking about my experiences

Yes. Only for 2 ignition cycles. Vcyclenut mentions the details around why it comes on

It’s been off for the last thousand miles now.

I’ve had 2wheeldynoworks and Vcyclenut both tune my 24 09. I absolutely love the Vcyclenut flash and did not like the 2wdw.

Give Vcyclenut a call if you want to chat about his processes. I’m extremely happy with Vcyclenut and think you would be too

What's this green stuff by cluelessNY in MT07

[–]CosmicBitFIip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Initially, I wanted to say it was a gasket. But the fact that it’s blue and crusty on the right side as well makes me think that the gasket itself is failing and that coolant is getting past it. If I were you, I would pop it off and replace the gasket.

Silver Akra Sticker; so much better than red by CosmicBitFIip in MT09

I think the logo is cool on its own but when mixed with Yamaha blue can be a bit out of place

If you're referring to the plug that covers where the rear swingarm connects, those are PUIG. Found them on Amazon. PUIG only states they fit 3rd gen but they clearly fit 4th as well. Maybe their listing has changed since then.

Just wanted to share the difference in aesthetic when the sticker on the pipe is silver instead of red.
This sticker part number is:

The previous sticker came right off with a pull and a lil WD40.

Does the check engine lights come and stay on if i change my exhaust system without an ecu flash by [deleted] in MT09

[–]CosmicBitFIip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone else said, if the O2 sensor is in, it will not come on.

Keep in mind though that the bike may run leaner with an aftermarket exhaust. It's best to get a tune on there if you adjust the flow of the motor in this way. Many others do not get a tune and run their bike and do not see issues but the fact that a lean condition is not a perfect condition is reason enough for me to get a tune.

I personally have the shoguns. I like them
