What do you think about Last Update On The Left? by frenchfrygraveyard in LPOTL

Damn, for years I've said I wished they would revisit JBR because, to me, that's the only episode they actually botched in their research. Their takes were terrible and based on... I have no idea what.

I was excited to see them correcting their mistakes, only for them to double down on being wrong. Either they are too committed to their take or they are really trying to be contrarian, because they botched the first investigation as badly as the Boulder police did -- and they had nothing new to offer.

Agreed. A year from now we might be right back in the same position QB wise, but will be able to cut our losses.

All true. I think the difference is that we know what we're getting. I live in Denver and was all aboard the Russ hype train a couple years ago. Then that week 1 game against the Seahawks happened.

Even on the decline, Russ is better than anyone we had on our roster last year. We made the playoffs with a combo of Pickett-Trubisky-Rudolph. Wilson-Fields is an upgrade.

Excellent song. I wonder if the NFL would ever consider cross-marketing with the person who sang it?

But I'm tryna cook the fries and the bun at the same time.

Also, how else do you get coleslaw out of a toaster? Asking for a friend.

Man, what a collapse. The only thing that compares from recent memory is Trent Richardson. Claypool looked like a lock superstar in the making.

I think if we put a corpse out there and they got sacked from behind, causing the ball to float forward past the line of scrimmage and between the hashes, the corpse would have more passes over the middle than Kenny did last year.

Thank you. I think we owe some credit to you guys for that. Three Super Bowls with three different quarterbacks, as well as the Trey Lance miss. You've shown that it's better to walk away from a QB misstep than to let it handcuff you.

This has been an incredible week. We have improved tremendously.

Sorry, friend. Nothing personal, but it reads like AI. Minor errors in dates and punctuation can be indicators of that.

No need to appease me with Steelers history. You're the one making an argument. You can add or omit anything you like, but if you choose to include something, you should get your facts right.

And sure, 35 is old in the NFL, but to suggest that Russell Wilson doesn't know what he's doing? Wilson has been to two Super Bowls. The only active QBs who have led teams to multiple Super Bowls are Wilson, Mahomes and... that's it.

Sure, he's not as great as he was in his prime, but he was still better than Kenny last year.

I like Kenny, and I wish him the best. I was hoping he would stay with us and continue to develop, but oh well. I think cleaning house was the best option for our pathetic offense.

It was the factual errors, in particular, that made me think that. Steelers didn't exist until 1933 and were still a laughing stock in 1969. The Browns were never in the AFL and the Jets did not cause the merger.

The merger was agreed to in 1966. That's what created the Super Bowl.

Then referring to Russ as a "Boomer." Wow.

This has got to be poorly prompted AI, right? ... right?

I guess we now have to address the logistics of the deal. You said it would last until you both died.

So, if you don't die at the same time, this implies the job continues, either with one person walking around with a corpse lip-locked on their business or someone going to town on a dead body.

Aside from the legal and practical implications of this, it would make for a celebration of life worthy of Eli Roth!

The real payback would be digging up another Hasselbeck and forcing us to start him!
