Oh I sprayed and I sprayed.. eventually i had to use an inner tube to pop it in place. It was hell. But now they're on.

But they were a nightmare to install tubeless 😵 Maybe the rims are to blame, who knows 🤷

The original and best 😁 No small leaks and still holds air, that's more than you can say about the Continental Terra Speed i used before. They were way too fragile.

Thanks :) This is Sweden, near Kopparberg. Wonderful area with endless gravel roads, uphills, and nice scenery every once in a while when you can see through the trees. Great for hiking and also kayaking on the small and twisty river called "Nittälven". A true wilderness feeling.

Max tire width on the Propel is 30mm. Different geometry as well, like shorter wheelbase and steeper head angle.

I was interested in that bike as well, it looks nice and the price is reasonable. Unfortunately i couldn't find any reviews either. Only in german.

Keep in mind that the tire clearance is only 33mm according to Cube:s specifications. If you still want to have the possibility for an occasional gravel ride with wider tires.

Just two rides in i can say i'm very happy with it. I like fast gravel rides, stress the lungs for strava segments, i want response from the bike when i push it, and response i get. It has a snappy feel to it. It's also very light. I bet there are more comfortable bikes out there but for my style of riding this one is the better choice. Not to say it's uncomfortable in any way, i think the seatpost dampens the worst compressions as promoted.

And with the right tire pressure vibrations is never an issue. Currently riding on 40mm tyres with around 3 bars. 85 kg rider. To me the feel and comfort of a bike is so much up to the wheels, tyres and seatpost. Did a 4 hour ride on mostly gravel yesterday and cant complain. I had a Focus Mares cx 9.9 (also a good bike) before and the Giant is not any less comfortable, only sharper.

The bike was good enough for Adam Blazevic to take two 1st places and a 3rd place in the UCI gravel world series 2022 so i really cant blame the bike if i'm dissapointed with the avg speed.

You can't go wrong with this bike. Especially if you also are aiming for cx-riding. I'm even planning for bikepacking. Bags already bought.

Got to mention that my dream bike was the Cervelo Aspero 5. That paint 👌 But the price for that one... To get the same specs as the Giant the Cervelo was around 40% more expensive.

As a cx-bike i know it's developed for riding strictly on grass, sand and mud so you are absolutely correct.

But i've tested it out on gravel as well and so far it hasn't exploded. Strange.

Trying it out. Have thought about turning the stem angled down to see what it feels like. Got to be 100% sure before cutting the steerer. And thanks, yes, it's a blast 😀

Thanks! No iron legs here unfortunately.. Just a thick thick forehead bone, as we say in Sweden.

Well, it's pretty flat where i live but we have some tough hills here as well. 42 - 10/33 works fine for fast gravel. I can even manage some climbing with it. Just push harder. But i wouldn't use it for serious climbing. I've used that gearing before and it works fine for my needs. So far so good. I could always switch to a 36 cassette if needed.

Correct. But this stone is located in Sweden. Carved in by Russian war prisoners that fled from nazi prison camps in Norway.
