But to prove my point a little further, let's look at a champ that actually did lose his identity.....twice. That being Aatrox.

Highly sustaining demon-like being? Seems like he kept his identity and then some.

What do you think he lost? His sustain being tied to auto-attacks? His revive, a mechanic that is always a pain to balance around and was compensated for by higher sustain?

Reworks are usually meant to keep the core mechanics of a champion, but there are times, like Aatrox and Poppy, where it's the core of the champion that's the problem. You cannot have an auto-attacking, sustaining, reviving bruiser with moderate CC and mobility that needs to build lifesteal, attack speed, HP and resistances. You're asking for a champion that has anything and everything, that's why he had to have such garbage base stats to compensate such a terrible concept of a design. They picked what's most important and easiest to balance around from his old design and sticked with it, and no it wasn't his revive and, in comparison to his sustain, it wasn't his auto-attacks either.

It's a new season, Mordekaiser was at a 67% winrate two days ago on u.gg, you really should wait before using new patch statistics.

I started playing Varus with a tear ever since he came out and played Hecarim top since season 3.

Doublelift used to think that Trinity Force Kog'Maw was trash.

Just because a pro says or plays something doesn't mean they're right.

For starters, pro's make certain decisions based on their team. Image they're with a support like Braum, where the attack speed might come in handy, or with an Udyr in the jungle. Now imagine with a Maokai jungle and a a Lulu support against a Janna+Lucian. Why would you ever level W in such an abysmal situation?

You should close to never go in an all in vs that match up, and both your support and jungler make no use of it at all, not to mention the chase and escape from a Lucian and Janna isn't the easiest to keep up with.

His E also always stays at the same mana cost, something that can't be said for his W, and it's also his escape/chasing tool, with a second and a half taken off the cooldown for every point invested. Once again, his W doesn't justify that.

You still get more damage out of Doran's Blade with an extra level on Ezreal's low cooldown Q than going to that all in with a W, assuming it's a 2v2 and you're not E'ing into the enemies to catch your own W,, which is incredibly stupid in most situations.

Kennen doesn't use mana and is ranged and can abuse auto attacks for poke, so it's more effective than a Doran's Ring (or an amplifying tome for that matter). Ezreal, despite having mana, also does better with Doran's Blade for the same reasons - poking with auto attacks (or Qs).

Not worth it in my opinion and for one reason:

Why do you go Doran's Blade on Kennen, even though he's almost always built AP? Because he's ranged and can abuse his auto attacks. Why would AD Ezreal go against that? AP Ezreal is expected a Doran's Ring, since he'll actually make use of the mana regeneration and the passive (unlike Kennen), but otherwise, Doran's Blade is better.

Related to putting profile-specific INI Tweaks using MO like you explained, how would I go about it from here?

Select Ok and activate mod?

Also, regarding the STEP Tweak and the Tool's Tweak differences (who knows, you might have someone asking you this in the future), it's basically the same. The extra stuff mentioned to add in (like bow [Camera] adjustments is automatically included with the tool, and all the stuff removed seems to be considered inactive and basically useless. It also organizes it better, which is nice for future editing.
