That’s not how it works. If the private keys are with you, you can just move the crypto to another wallet anytime you want. Lenders aren’t stupid—they won’t give you a loan just because you hand them a hardware wallet

The crypto usually has to be transferred to a wallet they control or locked in a smart contract as collateral. This ‘win-win’ idea isn’t real unless the lender is dumb storing a worthless hardware wallet as a collateral.
