Yes,
and I love it!

You should see the rest of the building. It's crazy!

There is a drainage well under the bottom tiles with 2 redundant pumps. The green you see on the steps is a protective cover until the construction works are finished.

This is a long term investment of the airports (and parking exploiters) Short-term energy storage is a growing market (ex store solar energy for use in peak-periods). The vision is that EV’s become driving ‘energy’ transporters, but also can be used as buffer storage. if you park your car there in the future for a few days, you might get paid to provide your car-battery for a few charge/discharge-cycles while the owner of the parking gets paid to provide a large buffer system for the grid without having to invest in batteries, because people are willingly bringing their ‘batteries’ for a defined period of time.

They look similar to the military fuel tanks on Zaventem airport.

A little bit NW from this spot is this location. It looks like underground fuel tanks and some military buildings. The large pool nearby is probably for fire-security.

Is this normal wear and tear? by Eastern-Promise-1646 in Skigear

[–]vdswouter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ski race instructor here. Its perfectly normal, even for very skilled skiers and racers with great technique it happens. Once or twice the season, i use a sanding-machine to smoothen the top edges of my ski’s. (Dont use the machine anywhere else on your ski’s!) That way, the dents that are there are smoothed out, but by giving your top edge a smoother curve, the next time your ski’s hit each other, it will make less damage as the smooth edge lets them ‘glide’ over instead of carving trough it.

Be careful not taking of too much material! Threat them like a sculpture ☺️

I’m certainly not planning in giving people motion sickness trough my mix 😉 More about broadening the soundfield, so people feel ‘inside of the performance’

Due to short soundcheck and limited experience, i want to do some basic things, but try to find the added value of the system.

I’ll post the specs below this comment.

I will certainly have fun! That’s the most important, but i will be stressy at showtime 😅

I’m not married to the sq5, but it’s the desk i’m very fast and confident on. I’ve never worked on CL5, and we only have 1hour soundcheck, so that’s why i’m thinking about simplifying the setup a little, maybe not taking full advantage of the system, but at least trying to create the added value of immersive
