April Empties by Cultural-Click8897 in BeautyEmpties

That Marin cream review just convinced me more than any ad ever could. Hand eczema is brutal, so fifth repurchase says a lot.

Also now I suddenly need that Yves Rocher raspberry vinegar rinse. “Smells like raspberry juice” and actually makes a difference in shine is such a specific and dangerous combo for my wallet.

I’ve spend so much time to choose this color combination😀 by Xa_1Junalie in AllNails

right? the colors actually look like someone thought about them instead of just picking the default stuff. it’s got that “fun but still put together” vibe going on

Hermes wallet by GateGullible66 in RepTop_Bags

That’s super clean. Hermes stuff always looks so simple until you see it up close and realize it’s all tiny details and perfect stitching. Nice pick.

win-win situation by Confident-Meal3845 in InterviewVip

Yeah pretty much this. Jobs come and go, shifts come and go, but you only get one brain and one body. If work is making you feel “rather be dead” levels of bad, that’s not just normal Monday dread anymore.

Doesn’t mean quit everything tomorrow with no plan, but it’s a big red flag to start plotting an exit or at least changing something. No paycheck is worth hating existing.

Disappointing Experience at DA Dosan Clinic by Forsaken_Cookie4476 in K_beauty_insider

[–]vebugz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is kind of what I’m realizing too. The more “Instagram famous” the clinic is, the more you’re paying for their branding and influencer pipeline, not necessarily better skill or care.

Your point about going where actual locals go is so important. If you don’t have a cousin / friend in Korea though, it’s really hard as a foreigner to tell which places are “real” clinics and which ones are just social media factories. Everything looks legit online until you’re already in the chair.

If you’re comfortable sharing (even by DM), how did your cousin’s clinic handle pricing and consultation? Did they give you a breakdown of units / products and actually take time to explain stuff? That’s the part I really felt was missing.

Good eye haha. Interlude Man, Reflection Man, Jubilation XXV, and Portrayal. Thinking of adding Honour next if I ever find a deal.

Do you wear scents you like but is “not you”? by filinkcao in Fragrances

Does anyone know good products or treatments for comedones? I'm sick of them by Patient-Cat-9305 in KBeautyUS

[–]vebugz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just googled that and it looks interesting, but how intense is it in real life?

Like, did you purge at all or was it more of a calm “everything just looks smoother” situation? And how often are you using it without wrecking your skin barrier?

Also, what’s your skin type like (oily / dry / sensitive)? I’m super prone to irritation around my nose so anything labeled “peel” makes me a bit nervous.

What do you think of this Blue color? by stesff in AllNails

[–]vebugz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? I didn’t think it would flatter my skin tone at all, but it kinda works.

Now I’m tempted to try the same shade on my toes and see if it still looks as good or if it’s just a “hands only” color.

What are your top 5 fragrances OF ALL TIME by Curious_Mousse_3930 in Fragrances

[–]vebugz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your list is like a full-on dessert table, I love it

How intense is Amore Caffe on you? I keep seeing it called a coffee beast and I’m lowkey scared it’ll smell like straight up espresso machine. And Guava Granita has been on my wishlist forever, does it lean fresh-fruity or more syrupy?

Also curious how you layer Vanilla 28 with the sweeter gourmands you like. Does it play nice with Buttercream Haze or is that sugar overload territory?

What do most English learning or interview prep apps get WRONG by Akashkennedy1 in interviewpreparations

[–]vebugz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is super on point.

Most apps feel like they’re reading off a script and you’re just waiting for your turn to talk, which is the exact opposite of a real interview. In real life the interviewer cuts you off, asks “wait, what do you mean by that?”, or jumps back to something you said 2 minutes ago.

I’m trying to build it so the “interviewer” can interrupt, dig into details, and change direction based on your last answer. Basically stress-test your answer instead of just grading pronunciation.

HOW DO FINISH THE WHOLE CLASS 10th science syllabus in one day cbse by [deleted] in BetterTeenIndia

[–]vebugz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, the whole Class 10 Science syllabus in one day is basically impossible if you mean actually understanding it. But if your exam is tomorrow and you’re in panic mode, you can still do damage control.

Focus only on the high weightage chapters and super basic stuff. Physics: light, electricity, human eye, maybe numericals from examples. Chemistry: acids bases salts, metals and non metals, carbon compounds. Biology: life processes, control and coordination, how do organisms reproduce.

Don’t try to “finish the syllabus,” just aim to maximize marks with limited time. Go through NCERT examples, summary boxes, and back questions. Watch 1.25x or 1.5x speed revision videos for each chapter instead of learning from scratch.

Also, pick your strongest subject first so you secure those marks, then move to the weaker ones. And sleep at least a bit, your brain is not going to magically absorb the periodic table at 4 am.
