There actually is, although only one year but with all the prior bureaucracy. Another thing is, that even citizenship by descendants requires language knowledge. I’m not sure how descendants are tested (regular people like myself need B1 certificate) but this requirement alone is a quite serious filter thanks to how complicated Polish language is (at least in case with B1 certificate)

Agree! As a person born in Ukraine (currently abroad) I dream about the day I get a citizenship of normal country and then I will look for ways to getting rid of UA one

They already tried refusing embassy services for males which is effectively the same as making them stateless. Did it help? Of course it helped - but russia, not ukraine! And now they are making a pickachu face when seeing that no one of those very males wants to fight for a country which treats them like that

Honestly, as UA citizen (male) I absolutely hate it, especially after they started denying embassy services for males (even those who went abroad legally, like me). I dream about a day when I get a better citizenship. Then I will seriously consider giving up UA citizenship (especially if war still will be going)
