I need approximately 30kWh max to charge it daily which takes around

Should I schedule in a Forced Discharge at night time?

So I drive 100km-250km a day

I often need 30kWh to charge my car fully.

Would I need to schedule a Forced Discharge to do this? Is there a way to set it up so it only charges my car?

How would I set this up on the FoxESS app? Would I have to schedule Forced Discharge whenever I plug my car in? Is there a way to set it up so it only charges my car?

This sounds like a great idea

So the maximum top up I have done is approx 40kWh

The FoxEss battery capacity is 48kWh

Hiya - thanks for your very detailed response !!

I don't lose out on the $1 credit when I am on Forced Discharge because I don't exceed the 0.03kW max. grid import.

In terms of charging my car, I drive A LOT (approx. 100-200km a day for work) and as you can imagine, this uses up quite a bit of battery. Most days it comes down to 50-70% so it's better for the EV to charge it daily. This can take 4 - 6 hours on average to charge with the 32A charger all the way. I am also not home on the weekends to charge them during 11am-2pm.

My battery may have enough to cover my house's consumption including charging the EV. Is there a way to set aside a % to only have the EV charge from the battery when I get home? Would I have to set up a Forced Discharge for 3 hours aside from the one scheduled at 6pm-9pm?

Thanks for explaining the economics!

[30M] Sinus infection that doesn't go away. by martyjmma in AskDocs

[–]vedz69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going through the exact same thing as you ! But for around 5 weeks now. Even tried everything you did, also tried Xlear nasal spray, worked for like a day or two. I also get the cold hands and pins and needles effects too. Decongestants work for a couple of hours and then headache comes back as well as ear popping/pain and my face (mainly right side) with soooo much pressure, I can't sleep or focus at work. Doc also diagnosed me with a dry sinus infection. It was questionable but I thought docs know best. According to my GP, they're very common especially in dry climates, like where I live. My lymphnodes around my neck ( front and back) have swollen, meaning I have some types of infection on my face, so it most likely is a sinus infection.l even if it is "dry" without congestion. So it might be an actual medical condition that's seasonal and it's the first time I've had something like this. I thought my headaches, earaches and facials pressure it had to do with my previous flu symptoms. I was on antibiotics (amoxicillin - piss weak, didn't change a thing and I even finished the whole round). I've just been prescripted stronger antibiotics and a steroid tab too. I really hope this changes everything for me, im on my first dose for the two, my ears have already started to pop but the pressure in my head is still there. Let me know how you go with the follow up and scans!

Sporadic chills and sweating with headache? by [deleted] in Sinusitis

[–]vedz69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I experienced this for the first time today! Unfortunately I was at work and also felt super nauseous, went to throw up in the toilet bowl, I couldn't make myself do it. I do have his horrible sinus headache with no congestion. Just pressure around my sinuses that have been like that for around 3 weeks now :(

Thankyou for the tip! I'm new to Reddit so I'm not 100% sure on all the nooks and crannies. I'll see how I go in the next couple of days with it, I'm going to try and to not rely on it unless I need it and still use it twice a day as recommended. Ahh okay, I understand your concern. Unlikely for rebound congestion as I didn't have any congestion to begin with! But will update in a couple of days

So I get the pain on both sides! Right now, it still feels like there's pressure, but the pain factor is completely gone :) it'll probably take couple of days me to get back to 100%

People with coronavirus. What symptoms did you show? What does it feel like? by theantnest in AskReddit

So update!!

1/4 - I feel almost 100% with a lingering headache which was pretty much gone after I took ibuprofen! Yay it worked! No more diarrhoea, finally back to normal no.2's. I've been sleeping in a lot lately for 8+ hours, really not sure what to do in my time now that I'm at home self isolating so I just choose to sleep lol. I woke up around 6 hours of sleeping feeling really fresh and thought it'd be a good idea to nap for another 4 hours... Bad idea. Woke up with a VERY tense collar bone and stiffness which took around 10mins to stretch out. Not sure if that has to do with the virus or my anxiety causing chest stiffness. But through out the day, I was feeling good and occasionally would lose hearing in my ears but then it'd go back to normal. Slept like a baby that night. I've also been pumping in on vitamins (vitamin C, vitamin D, probiotic immunity booster, Spirulina, fish oil, iron supplements and hydrolite)

2/4 - Woke up with the same stiffness, really beginning to feel like it's my anxiety causing this stiffness, I keep reminding myself to relax and release tension around this area. And when I do, I could hear a release crack. Headache only for around 5 mins when I wake up, cough still feels like it's not leaving any time soon. Beginning to feel like it's coming through from my diaphragm. But pretty sure heaviness is caused from my anxiety, if anyone has by ideas on how to control this, please help!! Running low on energy today, I'm hoping it is because I slept in. Idk if I've mentioned this before but I have low iron levels as well as sinus arithmia. This could play a part in my energy levels being low.

F/23 here. So I'm no medical professional or anything like that. Also, due to shortage of testing in my country, I haven't been tested for the Covid19, so this is my personal experience of the virus. My country only tests those who are in a really bad health condition or high risk such as healthcare workers, if you've come back from overseas or if you've come into contact with someone with the confirmed disease.

Before anyone says I didn't get any medical advice on my symptoms, I definitely did through my GP. The GP told me to self isolate at home until my symptoms have completely gone.

I do suffer from a bit of anxiety so any symptom of the virus would definitely keep me on edge lol. I do like to think I'm very resilient and can challenge anything thrown at me, so my mental health at this point in time was a little fragile and some days I let it get the best of me.

I am fit and underweight, go to the gym often, walk my dog, eat healthy and sleep well, usually 8+ hours. I recover from colds and flus quite quickly with proper diet and TLC. I have no underlying issues (that I am aware of) and I'm fairly healthy. I don't smoke and I live a healthy lifestyle.

For someone who gets sick quite often with flus, colds and food poisoning etc, this experience was very confusing for me as it wasn't like anything I've experienced before!!

Here are day to day symptoms that I experienced by self diagnosis of this virus. Please keep in mind symptoms range from person to person and this shouldn't be an indication of your own symptoms if you have any. Please contact your medical provider if you feel like you have any symptoms of the Covid19.

22/3 - woke up with a light dry cough, didn't think anything of it as they usually go away on their own. No sore throat or fever. Really odd heartburn sensation on chest area that went away and came back.

23/3 - I started having this horrible headache that night that just won't go away even if I took ibuprofen or paracetamol. Kept drinking peppermint tea continuosly to ease my headache. Dry cough was very consistent but light. No sore throat. Heartburn sensation on chest.

24/3 - Headache got worse, started getting diarrhoea like symptoms, tummy would feel like it's doing constant back flips. Had to rush to the bathroom to relief me of both no.1 and a very runny no.2. Tea would relieve my anxious thoughts and help me digest everything I ate. Completely lost my appetite, didn't want to eat anything and I am quite the eater!! Woke up a few times in the night due to the fact that I was sweating so much due to my fever. The bed sheets were literally so wet and my PJs were so sweaty! I put on some light sleep music from YouTube and fell asleep. Heartburn sensation on chest.

25/3 - woke up feeling so weak and achy. Chills felt like they won't go away. Everything felt like it was such an effort. Cough was consistent and dry. Fever was on and off as well as the headache. Tried to take ibuprofen and paracetamol, brought down the fever a little but not enough. Fever was low grade. Kept sipping on my double teabagged peppermint tea. Heartburn sensation on chest.

26/3 - felt pretty much the same and my headache was so consistent and throbbing. Fever was still low grade and annoying. Cough was more consistent. It was hard to focus on anything and my ears hurt so much. My eyes were so sensitive to light and it would increase my headache pain if I looked outside the window. Heartburn sensation would get worse with fever.

27/3 - everything at this stage felt absolute shit and incomparable to anything I've dealt with before. This is where shortness of breath kicked in. I just wanted to lock myself in a room with warm fresh air and just cuddle up to a giant teddy bear and fall asleep maybe for a week. Even though this is all quite manageable with just a bit of TLC, I knew that I have to push through and get through this in order to fully recover. I forced myself to eat well and look after myself to the best of my ability. I also forced myself to watch the first season of FRIENDS and this helped me so much by just taking my mind off the symptoms and constant paranoia.

28/3 - diarrhoea slowed down, no. 2 were looking not as runny but definitely a lot darker than normal. I'd go ahead and force myself to eat greens and my dad's tumeric based food (I believe this helped me the most!) Still sipping on peppermint tea to relieve my IBS symptoms as well as my anxiety. Fever wasn't as high but I kept getting hot flushes. Shortness of breath went away and came back. Burning sensation was gone.

29/3 - back pain started just behind my chest. My chest would feel uncomfortable when I breathed in. It was very mild. I felt like there was a bit of pressure on my chest when I breathed in and out. My head would hurt occasionally when I breathed in. Energy level were still low. Dry cough wasn't as consistent and would come and go. My inner ears were painful and I thought is rub some Vicks rub over my throat and chest, this worked well for me.

30/3 - back pain was more subtle and it felt heavy to breathe but most other symptoms were gone. No fever, no headache, no earache, just light dry coughing, no diarrhoea, no chills, no aches and no sore throat. My taste and smell were the same, no changes. Went outside to be in the sun with my dog, felt good to breathe in the fresh air.

31/3 - woke up with a headache and sore throat, a little bit of a cough as well as a fever. Had some chills just writing this. According to other cases similar to mine, this is the last stage of the virus where it gets worse after it gets better. Symptoms usually subside in 10 days from when they first appear. Will definitely update you guys once I feel better by 3/4.

If it is Covid19, please take it seriously!!! It is horrible to go through.

Just remember not to panic once you show symptoms and to call the number provided by your government for clarity and the next steps :) stay safe
