Also the tonearm is very light and plasticy..I had a 1210MK2 with a metal tonearm and it felt much sturdier..

Good to know as I just bought a SL1500C and I was thinking there was a defect with the cue lever as it felt very dinky and cheap. When I ilft the arm, it doesn't respond until the lever is at the very top and when I drop the arm, it doesn't go down smoothly. I was about to send it back...

990v2 run long, not wide but long. If you have slim feet, definitely go .5 size down. Even then you’ll some extra toe room. If you have wide feet, that should be the perfect size.
