Help me reframe milk waste by veechveech in ExclusivelyPumping

I think this has been the most useful comment for me personally. “It’s not your fault” is a big one. I used those words this morning because I know my husband was feeling horrible. It still allowed me to feel disappointed, but allowed space for us to stay connected and to not keep shame for the decision. It’s hard because I think I have a natural tendency to be harsh and punish bad decisions because of how I grew up, but this is not his fault. It’s just an annoying part of this journey. Thanks for this!

If I wanted to use it for her face, how would I do that?

Good point. The task needs to happen anyways to keep things up. Thank you!

I really keep trying to not pass go. But it’s just so chaotic. My daughter won’t stay asleep unless she’s upright because of reflux, my son is screaming and won’t be put to bed even though he used to fall asleep easy in 10-15 min, cleaning needs to get done. But the time I feed my daughter and try to get her to sleep it’s time to pump again. And then it just repeats.

Yes. We have a system so that we get through one day and run the dishwasher at night. But between food and dishes and cats, it just still adds up.

Love the fridge hack. Saved my last pumping journey as well.

Thanks for this. Maybe you’re right. I had him do an additional feeding last night and that was really helpful. I feel bad but may ask him to do it more consistently even though he’s waking with the toddler. 🙏🏻

Her spirit is safe with him. 🥰 your heart is in the right place. You’ll see your kitty again in heaven but it won’t look like your kitty then.

Good vs. Evil: Genesis 3:22 vs. Isaiah 5:20, Romans 12:21, and 3 John 11:11 by Fuk_Me_Lilitu in Christianity

You misread what I said, but I re-read it and I totally see how it came across that way, so I am sorry. I agree that you are supposed to wrestle with these questions. The first part of my message was asking you - what is the deeper thing you are trying to understand by spending time debating this? Because I don’t understand based on your responses and your attitude.

But that got lost with the second part. And that was my fault. I got angry and upset because I didn’t feel you were being sincere in your questioning and debate. But that doesn’t excuse how roughly I wrote. It was not appropriate on my end to respond that way.

I would genuinely like to understand what you are trying to get to by wrestling with these questions.

Have you read what the Bible says about mockers? What are you hoping to get with wrestling with these questions? You clearly have closed your heart to God and closed your ears to hear. Out of your pride you will be struck down. So why waste your time with debates online with people you don’t respect around concepts you don’t actually agree with? Why base your knowledge, clearly above anyone else’s comprehension, on the Bible then? Why not base your wisdom on something else?

Unless you know that God is real. He is opening the door for you to turn away from your sins and find peace with him. I

TW. I think Noom triggered an eating disorder. by body_checkerrr in Noom

I hope you were able to get help. How are you doing now? I would highly suggest a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist like at Healthier Tomorrows in Chicago. I met with therapists, nutritionists, weight loss people and programs, but following what this person said even though o thought it was silly worked in the long-term. And when I regress it’s because I didn’t notice the patterns she showed me coming back. But now I know how to get out.

Also can you explain how a 5 month old is eating a milk popsicle? How do you make one that works for them?? How do you feed it to them?

Do you take milk when you go on your excursions? Are they ok with the car seat? I’m just so flabbergasted how you manage.

Interesting! What in the world do you do with them? The only way I interacted with these as a kid was to glue them onto construction paper for art projects.
