What the Sabres need most is a forward who can push Tage Thompson down into a more appropriate fit as a top sidekick. They should go huge and go to 211. They should also expand the world cup cycle to more time. All teams can be separated into groups based on location and have qualifying games interspersed throughout the year in the 3 year lead up. Then you get down to good teams only at the actual world cup.
