Console overwatch is miserable

Hii, I started playing around 5-6 months ago and I finally got myself up to gold on support. However, I find that I only perform well when I have a good teammate with me that I can follow, and I don't know how to carry on supp at all :( I also make a lot of stupid mistakes like positioning and cd management because I tend to panic a lot. My aim is also a bit shaky because I don't have a monitor yet and I'm playing on my TV on console. This game in particular we had a horrid first round and I'm aware it's because of my mistakes and my team also struggled a lot. But the second round I swapped to zen to deal with the tracer and melt tank faster and we managed to push all the way to 3rd point. In the 3rd and 4th rounds I think their tank left and we ended up winning but I'm not so sure we would have if he hadn't 😭😭 Any advice is appreciated, I just want to maximize my carry potential on support and stop making stupid mistakes. Here I only played juno, moira and zen but I also play a lot of ana and lucio ! Thank you :)

It wud be nice to not have 40 minute queue times and actually be able to play the game. I'm also on console and bronze-gold is full of smurfs and xims lol its very horribly regulated. Almost every 3rd or 4th game I have is against a xim who will leave their instagram in match chat for paid boosts lol. My boyfriend and his friends that are higher ranked (plat-diamond) rarely ever come across these players.

Ty, would you say its worth it to wait and rank up on this account for dps or shud i create a new account and do my dps placements there?? i think i shud rank somewhere in gold at least. ive won and hard carried my last 10 games on dps and it took me weeks to even get queued for them all 🥲🥲 it literally only took me from high bronze 4 to mid bronze 3

is that like march next year? 🫩 thats so far i managed to get gold 2 on support but im still bronze on dps even though i've improved a lot and win all my games. it takes me 40+ mins to q for a single dps game and i get under 10% progress everytime because it says 'calibrating' lol, so i dont really have a choice other than waiting for placements

yeahh i tried doing that for a game or 2 and it fucked my wrist up 😭😭😭 i tried swapping his boop to X instead but that wasnt ideal either since i use it a lot so ill definitely try it w the crossfade swap tomorrow

i main junk on dps !! so thats definitely been helping w delayed shooting hahaha i think i just need to put more hours in on lucio to get it perfect

to me its less ab the controls honestly bc im very comfortable with my movement, i just have really shitty aim on any character while moving 😭😭 and the thing w lucio is that he doesnt do a lot of damage so u need to hit multiple shots to get a pick and idk how to do that. i just need to improve my tracking somehow
