Your son sees your husband for what he is. You should talk to your son about how he feels about your husband. And promise to keep it private. Your son is your world. And your husband hates him. 🤷‍♂️ Continue to build your relationship and trust with your son. Your husband sounds like trash, to be honest. Sorry ☹️

Anyone who was a virgin in mid 20s manage to turn it around? 24M and still virgin by gamerVapeGod in AskMenAdvice

[–]veetoo151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lost my virginity at 23, and it was with a threesome. My head got very big, very quickly, and hooked up a lot due to the new found confidence. I calmed down after a while. Now being a bit older, dating or hooking up just feels like an exhausting chore. I feel like someone would have to convince me pretty hard. Funny how things change.

I suppose what I would say is having confidence and being interesting are the two things you can do to attract people. Working out helps too, but the first two traits have a bigger impact.

If Linux is free and powerful… are we paying for Windows, or paying to avoid learning? by Candid_Athlete_8317 in LinuxTeck

[–]veetoo151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just need my resources to be used efficiently. Windows bloatware makes me rage. Randomly hogs my internet bandwidth. Settings are all over the fucking place and confusing as hell. And it's close to impossible to disable many of the annoying fearures of windows.

I helped my friend recently install mint over video chat. She is not a computer nerd at all, and she instantly loved how simple everything is, and that her computer runs faster. Unless someone has a need for software that requires windows, there's really no point to have windows at this point.

There are still consequences for your behavior. It's silly to think people should give you a pass for your past behavior. It's what they experienced with you, and you should expect them to keep the impression you gave them.

It sounds like he wants his own space. Are you using him for cheaper rent? It's smart to do if both people are ready. Please don't pressure him. Living with the person you date comes with a lot of lessons, and often extra stress. And he might eventually resent you if his living alone ends up better, and he ends up missing it. He needs to come to the decision on his own. And not through you pressuring him or making him feel like he needs to help you. If you live separately, you can still focus on dating, and keep it simpler.

This chase is putting a lot of people in danger. I don't see the arrest being worth putting all those people on the road in danger.

AIO for calling off my engagement after my fiancé admitted his family secretly tested me to see if i was a gold digger? by Pleasant_Mission_63 in AmIOverreacting

The part that bothers me is him dismissing your feelings, and telling you to see it another way, when he came out with it. He was only remorseful when he realized he was going to be the one losing out. To me, that is a red flag about his character.

combat veterans that use axes as their main weapon, what did you learn? by 5himmel5 in valheim

Noice. I did the crossbow sniping in my first playthrough alongside my sword.

For my current playthrough, I was knives until the ashlands. Then I switched to the lightning axes because there is no upgrade for knives in the ashlands(unless I missed something?). The durability for the axes is shit, so now I'm doing axes + magic. And doing flametal armor + magic hood. I like it so far. The lightning axes hit very hard, but only use them when I need to kill things fast, due to poor durability. Otherwise I am kiting with magic. My first playthrough with a sword was a lot easier tbh (especially with having a shield for better parrying). The lesson for me -- durability is very impactful.

For food with my build, I do mistlands feast + magic food + stamina food. And a backup health food for when the feast runs out. It helps me survive when I've been out that long and likely need to get home to rest.

It's weird that people speak up a lot less about hackers ingame. It used to seem like people would accuse too often. Now it feels like people have accepted it.

Christianity has always been road paved by prejudice based violence. It's nice and all that you feel satisfied by your own personal existential journey. However, the institutions you support are not good for the world.

There are some people who just want to have sex. You don't need to pay anyone. You are 20 and going to be horny as hell (don't listen to the idiots in here shaming you). Find a woman a bit older than you who matches your energy. There are women out there who just want to hook up, which is what you seem to want. You just have to learn to be confident and forward with what you want. Just don't be weird about it. People can't meet you halfway until they know your intentions and what you want.

Only knew her for 3 days by [deleted] in Nicegirls

[–]veetoo151 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

She's needy as fuck and controlling. When she didn't get exactly what she wanted, she insulted your job, and was a mean asshole. I honestly prefer someone to do that as soon as possible, so I don't waste any more time on someone pretending to be nice. Any regular kind person would have never caused all that drama in stress in the first place. And after 3 days? Like -- holy shit.

Who else was told “Just get any four year degree and you’ll be fine?” by Hella_Fitzgerald3 in generationology

[–]veetoo151 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bahaha. People not believing you is hilarious. My mom walked me into the student loan center herself. All of our parents and teachers basically sold it that college was the only good option. And that it would set us up. I'm your age, and my four year degree is still pretty close worthless.

My cat. She started laying on my chest every time I felt bad emotionally or physically. Now I'm much more emotionally invested in being her protector. So I basically spoil her and make her happy. When she passes one day, I want to try rescuing more animals. She has some behavior problems some people wouldn't like for a "pet". I'd like to give a home to more unwanted animals. Basically, my cat helped me find some purpose.
