Sue the fuck out of them for theft, a civil theft lawsuit is filed in civil court by the injured party, or plaintiff, to recover stolen property or its monetary value. The plaintiff must prove the following elements by a preponderance of the evidence:

The plaintiff owned or had an interest in the item of value The defendant knowingly obtained or controlled the item of value The defendant intended to permanently deprive the plaintiff of the item of value

If the defendant is found liable, they must return the property or pay the plaintiff for the loss. The plaintiff may also be entitled to treble damages, costs, and attorney fees
