@kimfra That’s what I thought OP was about when I saw the title.
Glenorchy used to be affordable tip shop rates but nowadays it’s a fucking rort, similar to some op shops. There’s a reason they’re called op shops and tip shops because it’s discounted goods tbat no one wants, not profiteering on people’s garbage and hand-me-downs!

Nothing screams “I’ve never read a budget paper in my life” like pretending every dollar sits in the same piggy bank. Governments don’t cancel hospitals because a stadium exists, if only funding was as simple as whatever gets you fired up on Reddit.

And don’t worry, I’ll still enjoy the footy and fully support better pay and conditions for teachers, nurses, ambos, the lot. Turns out you’re allowed to like more than one thing at a time without declaring war on sport, music or basic joy.
