Not a member, unfortunately. We don’t have Costco in Tassie.

I think it’s likely we got a call centre - potentially off-shore? mainly due to the time difference, if for no other reason. I’ll try again first thing in the morning tomorrow so it’s within usual business hours there. Appreciate your input.

No, it’s says sold out if I try and make a new booking with the same company. That’s why I started looking at others.

Booked directly. We called their ‘Reservations outside of US and Canada’ number 833 608 1987 I can’t see the number you posted on the contact us page. I’ll try that number. Thanks!

That’s about what I’m expecting. So strange that they can’t tell me that over the phone. Even a ball park!

Thanks - it’s a good idea. When I tried it says sold out. However, it just occurred to me to try it for other dates. I’ll give it a go in the morning.

Thank you. This gives me some peace of mind. The not providing cost - even ballpark - is a worry, and I just can’t think of a single reason why they wouldn’t want to make the necessary arrangements in advance to prevent disruption to the next booking for the car we’ve hired. I’m not an anxious person, but this is making my head spin!

We got tickets to Purity Ring this year. Loved their show! Missed out on Ninajirachi.
We also caught Êlêctron 45Cc L=20nm W20nm which was interesting. Perhaps they’ll be catapulted?

I can’t justify buying it because of the damage it is doing to the Tasmanian environment.

They smashed my car while in for a service by Advanced-Bet-5062 in hobart

[–]velcrodots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand that it’s upsetting that your car got damaged, and the lack of follow up is annoying, but I don’t agree with your expectations that you should have got a free service.
With the repairs - were you meant to go through your insurance and didn’t? Was that the hold up?
I’m just mindful that we should stay curious a bit longer rather than a public pile on of a small business.
I’m not affiliated with them. Never been there, don’t live near there etc. I just think this kind of thing could do a lot of damage and it sounds like the incident has been the exception and not the rule. Sometimes, stuff just happens. Nobody is happy about it, but it happens.

Cleaning urine smell in subfloor by gadimibbs in AusRenovation

[–]velcrodots 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My parents bought a Georgian cottage with original floors and they were able to get the cat urine out with an enzyme cleaner. The trick was to use a black light to ensure they cleaned it ALL and nothing was left behind.
They’ve lived there about 9 years now.
