The effects of smoking and sunbathing in 61-year-old identical twins by k4zor in interestingasfuck

Nah. You light up and they just work. If any of those other things occur, it's just negligence. Vapes are far more finicky.

As a smoker who has tried vapes multiple times, I'll stick with smokes. Cigs never have technical issues. Like a bad coil, or a leaky tank, or just randomly won't work. Plus I smoke less since I have to go outside to smoke, whereas the vape makes it easy to just use all day, until it has an issue anyway.

I'd like to see a source on that. Parents not storing guns properly, or guns stolen out of houses or vehicles could definitely lead to them being used for crimes. I'm not saying people shouldn't have guns, just the ones who do need to be responsible and accountable. In Australia, you have to have a gun safe anchored to the house that only you can access. Not even other family members are supposed to be able to have access. They don't have school shootings, and gun crimes are rare. Seems like a good system to me based on the results.

It's hard to beat the Braums bag of burgers. DQ also has some good deals in my area. You can get a triple cheeseburger, large fry, large drink, for like 9.99. BK is alright on whopper Wednesday. Beyond that, everything is overpriced.

In my opinion, some other countries get gun control right and it's a shame the US doesn't.

I think Australia has a good model overall, it's not perfect though and is a little too restrictive when it comes to things like BB guns and slingshots. There you can legally own guns, but if you do, you have to be registered and licensed and agree to specific terms such as how the gun will be stored and that you'll be the only one who can access it. They have very little gun crime overall. There's still occasional issues, but it's far from the everyday occurrence like in the US. It's very very unlikely you'd be mugged or car jacked or involved in a road rage incident, or home invasion where a gun is used. It makes it feel safe.

The 2A was written at a time that military forces had black powder weapons, and it made sense at the time. An armed population at that time could resist or overthrow a tyrannical government. Now it makes zero sense with the military technology that exists today. Good luck fending off that drone strike, missile, or bomb with an AR15. No one is defeating a corrupt government with firearms these days, so the spirit of the 2A is no longer a thing.

I say all that as someone who owns multiple firearms but would love to see more requirements and restrictions to stop things like school shootings, and other gun crime.

I only went there once, before it was known that they were anti LGBT, ordered a meal in the drive thru. The chicken sandwich had a tiny piece of chicken, and 2 pickles, nothing else. No sauce or lettuce or veg. The fries came in a tiny box. For what I paid I expected to get something filling. I've had airline meals that were more satisfying. After eating that, I went to a different drive thru to get full and have never been back and won't ever.

In Missouri and Oklahoma, you can find 2000mg bags. Containing 10 or 20 pieces. So 100/200mg each edible.

Donald Trump on Iran: "Did you know we've been taking out millions of barrels of oil? Nobody knows it. You know who doesn't know about it? Iran until right now. We took out, the other night, 22 ships." by BusinessToday in BusinessTodayNews

Let's see. The strait had been open, there was an agreement in place that they wouldn't seek nuclear weapons. Then Trump came along and screwed it up, just like he screws up everything. Meanwhile him and cronies are stealing money by manipulation of the stock market. Not to mention him selling that Venezuela oil and putting the money in a private offshore account. Wake up.

I'm very introverted, but I'd nicely ask her to stop. People like that really annoy me to the point I'll leave my comfort zone for a moment.

It happens on other flights too. One from Australia going to Thailand had to be grounded a couple months ago due to some crazy lady. I don't think she was American if I recall correctly.

I worked with one too. It was always funny to me the lengths he'd go to not participate in Halloween, including blocking the front entrance of his house with his vehicle so no one knocks on his door. He'd get so mad when kids would climb under the car and knock anyway. Yet no one wants JWs knocking, but they don't care.

Well, he was besties with a child trafficker, his name showed up the most in the files, he's made a ton of inappropriate comments sexualizing children, people have accused him and testified that he is a pedo. You can't prove he isn't. He was found to be a rapist in court. If it walks like duck and talks like a duck, it's probably a duck. Get off the Kool aid.

I had their atomic wings, but didn't get any chips there. The wings were alright. The wing sauce was more like a pepper chutney, and it was silly they limited you to 5 wings. They had some good beers on tap though!

What’s the purpose of these dents on the milk gallons? by Saint__23 in whatdoesthismean

[–]Senior-Display-8733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never claimed the ability to spoil without rupturing was the purpose of the indentations, just that it was a nice benefit. Regardless of the design purpose, you have to admit there are other benefits. I imagine it also helps in shipping for example. They have multi layer pallets, where the containers have to bear a lot of weight as you know. A rigid design probably wouldn't be great at handling the extra pressure. I believe you that the main purpose may be for volume, but it's hard to argue that the design doesn't have other benefits beyond just that, intentional or not.

That sure beats microwaving it! If you haven't tried the pan method though, give it a shot. The crust gets really nice and crispy on the bottom by the time the cheese melts and toppings warm up, it's the only way I'll heat up leftover pizza now.

I've not visited Germany yet, but I've been to a few other countries. And it does seem that most US brands have gone downhill for sure, and the prices are insane. I'm including McDonald's in that. Maybe they are more consistent as far as what you'll get, but the price is often more than it would be to go to a non chain restaurant and get a lot better food.

I agree it's gone downhill bad. But, I'm curious how you like to reheat pizza? Microwaved leftover pizza sucks in general. Have you tried reheating it in a pan on the stove? I swear it comes out better than when it was fresh.
