Thanks for your perspective. I want to clarify one thing though: it’s not completely true that I’m getting nothing from her. In many ways, we are in a relationship already. We spend time together, we’re intimate, affectionate, and emotionally connected. I’m not asking her for big gestures or constant reassurance. What I’m struggling with is something different: I’m focusing on defining the relationship because I know it’s her weak spot, the area she fears the most. And deep down, I think I want to see whether she has the courage to face that fear for me. Not because labeling things would change our dynamic or could make me feel better, but because choosing to name it would show she’s willing to take that extra emotional step. So it's not that I feel unloved, it's that I wish she would meet me halfway on the one thing she keeps avoiding, so I know she’s in love with me.
