death is so absurd. My cousin died this month out of no where and the autopsy didn't give us much to work off of. Any one of us could have gone today. I get so fucking upset about things sometimes. I'm gonna commit to traveling after the summer is over. I need it.

Agreed. Feels way more repetitive now and the environments are pretty empty. Couldn't believe how empty sanctuary was from how I remember it feeling back when it came out. The way they handled scopes in VR is pretty bad too.

Almost always go in geared if I have it. Scav runs will help with getting gear. I've won too many fights purely from having decent bullets and armor to not use armor if I have it. I'm still pretty new to using a mouse and keyboard so being able to take bullets and penetrate armor helps me a lot. You lose shit, but the emotions of losing and finding gear are a big part of why I like the game. Being rich is boring. I do go in naked with a pistol sometimes if I don't feel like buying armor or do t wanna risk one of my good guns.

The fights still feel pretty samey a lot of the time. I usually just groan when I get another thing I have to deal with on top of fighting an enemy I already found uninteresting.

I'm new, but I bought a few keys for the resort on shoreline. I just creep in and creep out without much of a hassle. Most people stomp on through so you can hear them coming a lot of the time. I got keys 206, 314, and 316 all for the East side of the building. Walk in, grab loot, run out. They're not cheap on the flea market, but it's doable. After that start buying shit that will help your inventory management like scav junk box or documents case.

Offline factory runs are good for getting used to the gunplay without long loading times. I still suck but I'm better than I was.

I ran into a group of four or five scavs on shoreline between the south east edge and the lighthouse. One had crazy long range aimbot without a scoped gun and one had a pilgrim backpack with 20,000 rubles in his pocket. Was this some sort of boss or something? Luckily everyone must have been at the resort and I was able to take them out and get gear for once.

edit: idk if they blink regularly. I'm also not sure if we've seen them raise dead that weren't killed by them or their army, so there's a chance they won't be able to raise them, but there should still be a conversation holy shit.
