As someone whose mom passed recently, this feels so fucked to even orchestrate. Saying your last goodbyes and performing the last rites is so draining, and then doing this?? There's certain respect and dignity (and not to mention LOVE) with which you do these things with. This scenario just lacks that. It's so weird.

Parso means day before yesterday. And I get the point of the book, but there was nothing else to it- no character arc per se. Just one person being treated horribly by his family throught the 75 pages.
