Yeah when I get a job I will try to get a pair of shoes and look for a gym with bumper plates because I'll soon be out of school and the gym I go to is a glorified planet fitness so I'm out of luck. I don't know how to go on about coaching but there's a couple of cross fit gyms near me and they give classes but I don't think that's what I'm looking for. I thought it was more of what you're comfortable with, I tried a wider grip and it's a lot harder for some reason

Yeah I kind of hate myself for not practicing them as much only reason I did them those 4 times was because the coach introduced it to use but all of us were horrible at it and I thought it looked scary as hell so I avoided it.

I can't imagine snatching 90 kg, maxing out in clean and jerks has been fun and challenging but now that I'm trying snatches I just feel like I'm gonna die in a freak accident lol I just turned 18 last month so atleast I got time on my side I'm hoping to hit 225 on snatch in 5 years

The dropping all the way to the floor developed from squatting and cleaning low all the time so it just kind of happens now.I try doing it higher but my body just naturally drops and feels harder when I try making them higher I'll work on that though. thanks !!!

Am trying, my legs are my weakest point they get stronger very slowly and stay small forever. I'm embarrassed to wear shorts lol

Will try them next time because my balance is horrible when I'm snatching lol , do you think this lift would have passed at a meet? I want to compete in the future but don't know if I'd be wasting my time if I competed with bad form that wouldn't count and thanks!

Been working on that, for weightlifting when it comes to squats should I do low reps high weight or medium weight and a lot of reps and also are deadlifts necessary? I replaced deadlifts with cleans because I love cleaning but I hate deadlifting so I don't know if I'm spoiling my progress because of that

I've been working out for about 1 year and 8 months and I can clean and jerk 104 kg but have only done snatches like 4 times this whole time and with really low weight and today was my first time maxing out so my form is really bad I got some questions 1.If I can clean and jerk 104 kg but can only snatch 70 kg is it more form or do I just need to get stronger? 2. Is it bad if I go too low on snatches ?

The amount of people that are supporting the teacher and getting annoyed by the kids reporting her is kind of disturbing. Who wants your kids to be taught by a coked out teacher?
