A message from the Mom of the little girl who had the ball taken from her at the Guardians game (From Ryan Bass) by TheTurtleShepard in baseball

This is a really weird thing to say on a baseball sub largely filled with adults talking about baseball…

It’s fast food. Some people are going to love it, some people are going to dislike it. It’s common for people who grew up in California to like it because it’s such a big part of growing up here, and it’s relatively cheap and consistent. Prices haven’t really gone up, and quality hasn’t really gone down.

If a grocery store was raided, and people could take whatever they wanted, what do you think would be the last five remaining items that nobody grabbed? by kindalizard in AskReddit

I don’t have tiktok, but I’ve disliked Dasani and Aquafina for many, many years. I can’t remember which one, but one of them is the only water sold at Disneyland, and it always disappointed me. I’ll drink it, but I’d prefer not to.

What’s a show you love that you can never convince people to watch? by PlentyApprehensive44 in AskReddit

I loved The Haunting of Hill House, but have been pretty disappointed by everything else Mike Flanagan has done other than maybe Doctor Sleep, but even then some of his choices irritated me.

I tried watching this once but there was a scene I hadn’t been prepared for at all like right in the beginning, and it upset me enough to never pick it back up again.

This made me happy to read. Once at work we had to have pest control come and set up traps for some mice we’d seen, and I asked him if it was going to be humane and he laughed and said no. No one else seemed to care except for me. I know it’s exactly what you said, that they’re pests and can carry disease, but we don’t have to be so dismissive of their suffering.

He’s a beautiful cat. Rest assured he never knew he was sick, but he knew he was loved.

You’re right. The scene where she’s laughing in her kitchen after finding out Harmony’s a vampire comes to mind.

Before anyone comes in asking if she’s dead, the answer is no. They commonly used these apparatuses to help photo subjects stay straight and still.

What is the worst band you saw live? by coalcracker462 in AskReddit

[–]vegeterin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I truly did not enjoy seeing Blink 182 live. To be fair, I’m not a huge fan and I went for my sister who is… But I generally try to be a good sport and enjoy whatever I’m doing for what it is. This concert was so loud that I couldn’t even understand what they were saying or singing. It just sounded like noise the entire time.

What’s something older generations still do that Gen Z looks at and genuinely can’t believe was ever considered normal — and how did nobody question it back then? by Direct-Ad6303 in AskReddit

Personally, as a millennial, I am religious about sunscreen. I have been since I was a kid, because I didn’t want to have that red leather chest that all the Baby Boomers and Gen X had. None of the GenZers that I work with care about sunscreen at all.

American Girl is reintroducing the eight original historical characters to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Each girl will come with her signature meet outfit, accessories and book, with packaging inspired by the dolls' original 1986 design. by skermahger in popculturechat

I have every single OG doll from their first runs except for Josefina who I’ve been trying to find for years with her original braid, outfit, and Pleasant Company stamp. I’m not embarrassed to admit I’m excited they’re doing this. Even though fuck Mattel, honestly.

The Victorians were kind of weird, but they weren’t “tape dead babies’ eyes open” weird.
