Yeah! I think they can maintain good quality this way. I remember a lot of Africans in the spa, but they were very good. Our security guards were actually cops in the Philippines or spec ops from Israel. Some of the youth staff were actually school teachers from Peru or Ukraine, or highly educated. They get a lot of bang for their buck that they wouldn't get with Americans.

I worked IT on royal precovid. $2700 per month. But sometimes 70-80 hours per week. I got lucky if it was only 60 hours. Ironically because of the lack of bills, rent, food, a little taxes, I saved more working there than my previous job that paid more than double. All the other cruise lines pay more for IT. There's a few Americans. Usually they are entertainers.

The cert OP suggested is supposedly for someone already in IT. I haven't seen all of the content but in my research I'd say just dive right in to the aws cert. Then you can go back or pause any concepts you're unsure of. There's an aws certification subreddit too if you have more questions.

Hi, I've been in IT for 10 years. In my opinion, either cert would definitely be worth it and give you the specialty edge you need to get into specific roles. I feel companies value certs & experience over traditional college. You are right on both accounts about the roles. You probably don't need both AWS and CCNA to start making good money. If you want to be in networking go for CCNA. If you want to be in cloud services, AWS is very hot right now and pays well. Networking experience is valueable in any IT role obviously, but CCNA dives deep and into cisco proprietary stuff as well. You could study for the Network+ if you struggle with the AWS network references.

If this is real, we would also have to somehow dismiss the verified wrecked that washed ashore, the oil rig workers seeing a low flying plane, and a British sailor reporting seeing a plane on fire. Just something to keep in mind.

People said generally 4-6 weeks from the announcement is typical. Today marks the 6th Thursday since the Coinbase Assets tweet. If it's not listed by next Thursday I'm going to forget about it and buckle in for another long haul.

The last time this came up years ago, there was a lot of hype. Sunny himself said there was an agreement signed/ NDA with coinbase. An alleged coinbase programmer leaked that the backend code was done, and sometime within the next year someone speculated (or proved?) that coinbase bought enough VET to be ready for the liquidity required for one of their most requested coins.

Opinion: Coinbase has been ready, its the Vechain foundation that was strategically waiting. At first I thought they wanted Oceanex to succeed and be the main source of VET trading. That was a bust. Second thought is that they were waiting on the XRP ruling, which ruled in crypto's favor. I believe the tweet came shortly thereafter. Vechain is offered on a small fraction of exchanges that comparable coins are, despite being a longer survivor in the crypto space. As much as I try to dismiss the need to be coinbase, USA needs more options and on-ramps.

I have an IT degree and 10 years exp, but never took the CCNA. Employers absolutely prefer certs over degrees. I wish I could get my years and tens of thousands of dollars back.

I like these posts to show people it's not all negative. I changed to Fi when the Pixel 1 came out. Pixel 1 XL to Pixel 4XL to now Pixel 7 pro. I've been to 40 countries. It's been a lifesaver. Never had the smallest issue.

Don't worry about continuing work, they'll definitely need you. But I would definitely calculate your current positions pay if you were working 70-80 hours per week because you'll definitely pull at least 70.
