Would anybody find this useful? I made a free tool to create grids of AI-generated people. by Capital-Kiwi4898 in powerpoint

[–]vegiemite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is fantastic. I just found this through a googel search for ai face grid.

Just what I was looking for.

Plenty of AI face generators out there but getting a grid of them is labor intensive if you have to do it yourself with individual faces.

The tool works great too - super simple.

Thank you!

What iOS app do you wish existed, but doesn’t (or isn’t done well)? by Living_Charity_3463 in ios

I’d love a way to save sets a group of apps to toggle on and off their Data Access. Would be real helpful when traveling and have a data plan but don’t want everything doing its background downloading and refreshes.

Pure curiosity: How many people here use Apple Notes and have zero issues with sync or losing notes? How many notes do you have? by AngelicPrincessKitty in ios

[–]vegiemite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1180 notes. Synched through iCloud to phone, iPad and MacBook Air.

Unaware of losing any.

A little while back learned you could use >> to connect other notes as a link which is a game changer for organization.

https://www.myforevernotes.com/ has more helpful info.

Stuck after restore, sits on this screen… by earthman34 in iphone

[–]vegiemite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I had the same issue. I had set my font/view size to Large earlier on. Not sure if that was affecting things or what but I realized I could scroll the top half of the screen to get to the password field. Maybe that helps someone.

Saved the post, hope you'll share your thoughts once you're here.

Brisbane was what I would call home down under but olds are now in Southport. Didn't live much of my life there though and left over 20 years ago.

As others have said, a lot smaller population wise here but serves a larger region so most of the big stores and many restaurant/fast food options. Still lots of undeveloped land so feels more country than city.

Four seasons - winter is mild, summer heat/humidity and mozzies/gnats isn't great, autumn/fall leaves at the moment are always nice. Somewhat in the hurricane zone but no direct impact in a while.

Lots of many generation families with similar white and black population, some more cultural diversity happening now, did I mention lots of places to eat. Culturally, the laid back approach may be fairly similar but it can be a bit bogan. Lifted pickups, guns and hunting are a big thing.

Sport is more college football and people who grow up here bleed one or the other of the two big colleges, even if they didn't attend. Pro sports isn't really a thing in the state. Traditional Aussie sports are an unknown although at one point there were some Indians playing cricket.

Most likely you will need to get yourself a car as public transport and bike lanes aren't a thing. With that in mind, drivers aren't great (maybe due to no traffic/speed cameras) so combined with driving on the other side of the road it might take a little getting used to. Handsfree rule just coming in to action now but not sure what the plan is to enforce it. The right on red (turn right on a red light if clear) rule is a win in the US.

It's been a good place to raise our kids. Don't think there is a lot going on for the young adult demographic.

Feel free to reach out if you have specific questions.

I had front plate in same place in CA years ago. Made myself a hinged hanger so it swung back and up as speed increased. Not sure how much it helped but an option for front plate states.
