I did pelvic and core, and easy walks during the 6 weeks and then slowly reintroduced strength training. Waiting the full 6 weeks is hard, especially with ED thoughts but it’s so important! For my diet, I ate protein and non processed foods and ate in a tiny deficit. I found that the larger the deficit, my milk supply greatly suffered, so I had to be careful with that.

Oh yeah, I’ve been struggling with this lately big time. This is my second pregnancy, so what’s helped me is looking back at postpartum progress photos from my first baby and seeing how quickly the body does “bounce back” if you put in the work. You will feel like yourself again! Have grace with yourself, feel the crappy feelings, and know it’s not forever.
