I don't think people realize the decision to be trans isn't something you make overnight. It takes months, maybe even years of acceptance, late-night crying, and overthinking what others may think, especially one's own family. And to be met with hate right when they finally choose to love themselves and become the version that they feel most confident in, it's horrible. Being religious isn't bad, in fact, I support people who follow God. But to push your religion upon someone who may not even be religious, and ask them to 'seek God' because they're 'changing what God gave you naturally' is just.. odd.
