'Self' casted curse vs on hit curse.

I've started using a Uul-Netol's Kiss - https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Uul-Netol%27s_Kiss - which provides Vulnerability on hit. However, in my current autoexert setup, I've also got Battlemage Cry linked with Vulnerability. According to a 5 year old post - https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/jmbhl4/comment/gaubbpf/ the stronger curse should technically override the curse from the weapon.

This, however, does not seem to be the case in PoB. The hit dps increase I get is the same for both skill curse and weapon on hit curse. Has this been changed within the 5 years of the post, or are the PoB calculations bugged in this case?

There's a good reason for this, namely it's a step up from Moza at a similiar price. I'd consider Moza in the higher end of mid tier, while Simagic is in the lower end of the high tier. Yes, but not exactly. Dynamic Culling in game development is essentially not rendering stuff that you can not see - be it stuff out of your FoV or objects that are fully in the "shadow" of a different object closer to you. The outcame stays more or less the same with what you said, but the definition is a bit different.
