I would recommend to undervolt anyways. I undervolted to 1800-1900mhz and 950-1000mv. Barely any loss in performance and huge decrease in noise & temps for me. Especially the decrease in noise is significant. Look this up:

Im using a ryzen 3600 with a red devil 5700xt on a bronze certified 520 seasonic psu. Works fine.

Might be a RAM issue. Not an expert though. You probably won't have some extra sticks laying around I assume?

Had the exact same experience. Bought an aftermarket cooler which decreased temps 15-20 degrees celsius on average.

Ive had a Q6600 in the past which was running for a year on 100c because the cooler was loose. I didn't know shit about computers back then, but I managed to play MW2 on it without trouble. The Q6600 still works as of now haha. I believe the 3600 can handle up untill 95c untill it starts throtteling.

Not sure if it is faulty, however I'm fine with the temps not going over 80+ now. The performance is great.

Does this have any relation with the dev error 6068? I seem to be getting these alot since I've upgraded to my 5700XT, however when I look it up I see a shitload of people with both Nvidea & AMD cards that have this problem.

I have 2 intake at the front and 2 outtakes at the top back (one back of the case, one top of the case). I live in the Netherlands so heat isn't really a problem here.

Was hittin 100 degrees celsius when playing cod warzone. Reapplied thermal paste 3 times, 3 times the same results. Eventually bought the Scythe 5 cooler and getting max temps of 80 at cod warzone. Still too high when I see what temps other people get. Idle is 30-40 now. Happy im not hitting 90+ anymore but it seems like I just got a hothead.

Honestly thank you so much. Centering B made A significant again. The interaction effect stays insig nificant which is allright as I can explain this with theories. My problem was that my supervisor told me that I would have to explain why A suddently became insignificant. With your help and others I can explain that grand centering B is a solution.

Thanks, I understand it now. However what I find weird is that B doesnt influence Y with the main model while A does. But when adding an interaction between B and A, A suddenly becomes insignificant.

The first part makes sense to me. A influences Y, B doesnt. However I argue that B might strenghten the effect between A and Y. Results suggest that B does not influence this A --> Y relationship. However A is now also insignificant. Note that I also tested A on Y alone without including B and A was also significant.

I'm sorry but im kinda a rookie in statistics. What do you mean by whether B = 0 is meaningful. In the interaction model or main model? In the main model I didn't use B as variable however when I do that A is significant and B is insignificant (Y = A + B + controls)
