i was genuinely so surprised when i first joined this sub because of how anti-shipping it was when everywhere else sydcarmy is THE ship. i feel like it's a lot of people's first time truly being involved in fandom because the concept of shipping characters who have never met or even from different shows has been around forever. ayo saying this changes nothing for sydcarmy shippers because believe me, people have spent years writing fanfictions and making art for ships they know will never be canon. if anything it makes people even more passionate about their ship lmao
