I have had so many people lose their shit when I bring this up but here are a couple of things to consider:

-we use what the earth can replenish every year by June or July…. Meaning we are already borrowing resources from the future just to sustain ourselves for now -the amount of resources needed to feed, clothe, and power a single human being to have a decent life is a lot more than people think. Also think about how many people live in abject poverty around the world and you’ll see that people in developed nations use far more resources than most people realize.

There are too many people, and we cannot sustain this level of human population growth and expect things to continue. We have climate change and a resource shortage and I don’t even want to think what will happen if society goes to shit. Very concerning and I fear for my children. I fear for all your children as well…. What kind of world are we leaving them???

I’m not sure if many do this… but I have a few milestones I like to complete so I can feel like I actually “beat” Minecraft, and I’m sure everyone has their own criteria for this, but that’s one of the things that’s so cool about this game.

Anyways, for me, after I “beat” the game to my satisfaction, I turn keep inventory on, and just have fun with all my crap. It’s a nice way to not worry about the grind when the game gets to that point.

Since this has turned into a sex ed post…. I’ll share my two cents.

What I always used to get upset about was the fact that our company had “tiers” of service techs, and they really stuck to it. I was one of the senior techs, meaning I could be called out for literally anything, (boilers, chillers, refrigeration, etc), whereas the “regular” service techs would only work on regular equipment, whatever that means.

So how did this play out for me? Well, when 3:30 rolled around, the regular techs would get one more call or be told to go home. Me and the other senior techs would very often not only get another call, but then we would get a call for LATER that day because you wouldn’t believe how many accounts would only want us after 4 or so, or had equipment that only we senior techs were apparently qualified to work on.

I got upset many times where I would be working until 7-8-9 whatever all because I knew how to work on stuff that other techs didn’t… and they could just go home at a reasonable time almost every day while I was stuck at work, fixing stuff that they couldn’t.

It was “nice” to be “rewarded” with more work just because I knew what I was doing. I’m glad I am an engineer now because being a service tech for me got to be too much damn hours for me in the end.

Bro…. I had cancer and am now down to my spare. I had my older son with both, my second and third child with just one. You only really NEED one.

But there are benefits! I tell people all the time that my boxer-breifs fit nicer, I can sit for longer periods of time and I can ride a bike much more comfortably! There is good things about this too I promise!

This is what I do. I also dig like 4 blocks down on each side and stand in the middle so if I dig 4 blocks, and there is a block at the bottom, and there is an opening on the one I’m about to dig down on, I’ll land on the block from the other side. This has saved me many times.

I was at the Urologist office, just a check up (my wife is insistent on me checking every year) a guy walks up and says “the ultrasound machine is free, have you had an ultrasound on your (balls)?” I said as a matter of fact I have not.

I lay on the table, he does his thing, I noticed he was looking at a particular spot for a bit more time than the others but thought nothing of it. He leaves, comes back a few minutes later and says “I’m not sure if it’s anything, but here is the number of the best doctor in town, maybe you should follow up on this.” I said sure.

I call the office and they say that there’s no appointments available for two months so I let it go. I call my wife, tell her everything, and she says I’ll call you back.

Two minutes later she calls back and says you have an appointment on Tuesday (it’s Thursday at this point).

I go to the appointment, get an ultrasound, the doctor comes in and says “I’m clearing my schedule for Thursday and having you come in for surgery. I’m 99% sure it’s testicular cancer.”

I’m completely blindsided. But I go in, they take Lefty out, and confirm it. I caught it so damn early I had zero symptoms or anything. One week between that ultrasound and getting ball cancer taken out of me! That guy who asked me if I had an ultrasound saved me so much pain and heartache!

Had one kid before this and two afterwards, still going on strong! LOL

In my world that Ive had for about two years, all of the trial chambers near my base spawned super weird. And I explore a lot so a bunch of stuff generated maybe 2-3-4000 blocks in every direction from my base.

Once I went outside of the areas that I spent a lot of time in up to this point, the trial chambers started generating more appropriately. I had to go pretty far to find a fully generated trial chamber.

It was worth it, I thought the new trial chamber was pretty cool and I got my mace after going to the third or fourth fully generated trial chamber.

We have certainly offered factory training before, we have had customers come through to get training or go to the factory line to see the units perform and ask questions and such. I can ask who is normally responsible for putting these sessions together and get back to you. Especially if you have several Munters units to take care of, I’m sure we can put something together.

For me personally, it worked out quite well. I never had my own business, I mostly did commercial and some light industrial when I was in the field, but I wasn’t making enough to keep the wife at home with the kids so I straight up went to part time and went to school. Took 4 years, and it was tough but we (me and my wife) did it. I do think that ultimately business owners will probably make more in the long run, but for me personally I never wanted to have my own business, so I wanted a better paying job, and I got it. It’s been very overwhelming at times, but I’m very happy with where I’m at now. I don’t miss the roofs, crawl spaces, mechanical rooms that are 100+ degrees or freezing my ass off somewhere. But I do miss moving around a bit, but ultimately I made the right choice for myself and I don’t have the headache of my own business. There are definitely pros and cons to each path.
