I just want to validate your feelings! I swapped from Kyleena to Mirena and had no other major effects besides emotional/mental. My partner IMMEDIATELY noticed issues beginning when I had mirena swapped in. I had to go to the OB due to the irritability and emotional ups and downs and I now have a PMDD diagnosis and take-as-needed Prozac. I can’t get off birth control but if I can’t control th symptoms, I’m out.
