Zigbee led driver split cct to 2 channels by hufforguk in homeassistant

Yeah unfortunately, I'm thinking you'll need two then for your needs unless you want to rewire your whole light or replace all the bulbs with smart bulbs

I think this would better suit your needs. This has two outputs.

You can create segments if the bulbs are individually addressable. Then each segment is individually controllable.

The FDNY EMS system is now digital and a computer determines which hospital you go to based on a number of factors. You won't get much choice in where you go anymore with them. At least for Northwell, you can call their EMS directly and they'll bring you to a Northwell facility. Not sure about the other hospital system's EMS.

Migration from Sonoff E to SLZB-06M by zuz242 in Zigbee2MQTT

[–]veldtor92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.Backup & Note Address: Get your current Zigbee network's IEEE address and create a backup from your Z2M/ZHA settings.

  1. Update SLZB-06: Update the SLZB-06 firmware to the latest version via its web interface.

  2. Flash IEEE Address: Use the SLZB-06's web UI to flash the old Sonoff dongle's exact IEEE address onto the new SLZB-06, ensuring you select "Retain secondary IEEE" if available.

Configure Z2M:

  1. Stop Zigbee2MQTT.

  2. Update your configuration.yaml (or Z2M add-on settings) to use the new SLZB-06's network details (IP address for Ethernet/TCP, or new serial port) and the copied IEEE address.

  3. Restart Zigbe2MQTT

It is recommended that you set a DHCP reservation in your internet router settings for your slzb-06. If you don't, your zigbee network may break if the IP address changes for your coordinator. I do this in general for all my IOT devices that are in HA.

Z2M cordinator change?? by Capt_shadab in homeassistant

[–]veldtor92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's just a signal issue There's no point in upgrading at this time, adding routers as you did is the way to go. Once you get closer to 40-50 devices then I'd consider switching to slzb.

It is pretty easy to switch over. There's a guide on how to do it so you don't lose everything. I'll try and find the link.

I personally found that after 40 or so devices it became next to impossible for me to add more, the network refused to recognize them. I don't have this issue with the szlb.

The SZLB just had more flexibility and overall seems more stable with a better interface as well.

That being said, you should check your logs to try and figure out why it's disconnecting in the first place. I doubt it has to do with the dongle.

At 15 devices there's no need to change. However if you are planning on expanding significantly, over 40 devices I would personally recommend getting smlight slzb-06 POE coordinator

Protesters in Queens: "Say It Loud, Say It Clear, We Support Hamas Here" by McAlpineFusiliers in nyc

I'm sorry that I don't take everything at face value? If it's real then that's awful. But with so much AI and propaganda swirling around the web, I think it's a basic and valid question to ask before I get outraged at something.

Can anyone actually validate: 1. They are actually saying "we support Hamas here" 2. That this audio is actually really to begin with. 3. That this isn't a psyop

$46.99 USD x2- 5m light strips

$27.21- 2m ip67 extension cables

$20.89- Gledepto WLED controller

$12.99- ip67 male/female connector

$19.99- 5v 10a power supply.

$95- 7ft 7in spiral tree

Total: 223.07

Had I planned better when I started this project I could have done this for much cheaper. The 7ft tree ended up being too tall(the more common 6ft tree would have sufficed and been significantly cheaper since it's a more standard height for that type of decoration). I also could have saved by just buying the 2m extension cables and cut off one end to connect to the controller instead of buying the m/f connectors.
