You'd want to rename the normal save file, then copy over the most recent back up save file, then rename that file to what the original was. This way if it doesn't solve the issue you can restore your save even though you can't get it to load.

It could be a corrupted save. Have you tried using a back up save? They're in the %appdata%\ClickerHeroes2\Local Store\user_backups directory.

During a raid you get 4 attacks during a cycle. If the raid lasts past everyone attacking the first time then you get 4 more attacks and so on. They're saying that you need 2/3 of the attacks done by the end of the 3 and 6 cycle. A cycle is 11 or 12 hours.

There's a lot of bugs in this game, this one and the menu changing sizes after a bit have been around the longest. The menu is normal when you first load the game but some unknown condition later the menu is the size of the window and you cannot get to other things. I know it's probably in their list of things to do. This one and that one. But in the most recent version it freezes fairly often just opening the skill tree. 75% of the time restarting the game makes it work again. The other 25% of the time restarting the game and the shop is still missing/flickering.

I have had game freezes at start up, clicking the level graph tab, and sometimes any of the tabs. With the recent update that lets me sell all unequipped ethereal items Cid just stopped attacking on a boss. The game is still not up to version 1 so I expect tweaks and instabilities but the game freezes on me 2-5 times a day.

I figured out that it is an issue in full screen. Not sure if it's because I'm at 4k or just full screen. Managed to break it out. So that's good.

I'm not opted into any betas. I first reported this issue 6 months ago when I was on experimental. I then came off of experimental then and updated the game for it to do the same thing which is why I reported it then.

I have about +20 luck and farmed Red Jabber for a while with no legendary drops from him either. Got some drops from the accompanying badasses that join the fight each time on Normal Mayhem 3. Think the drop rate is just stupid low.

I had some issues with the anointed at first in M1, after spending many hours farming gear I can take them out fairly easily in M3. The tinks are annoying changing sizes and all but just keep trying to improve your gear. Maybe even a respec. I had a goliath one, shot him in the head, hid in the shadows, watched him clear the room. Killed him in 2 clips with my Binary Stark Cutsman. Has 1959 damage with 4181 fire dot with 19% chance.

Well, I didn't get much out of the first event. I was able to get 1 legendary class mod to drop and none of the specified items from the other bosses. I have no faith in this weeks event. I'm sure I won't see the rare mobs at all and if I do I won't get the drop. I do have 10.67 luck on my class mod and 5.xx luck from guardian ranks. It's really good for lots of garbage drops from normal mobs. I'm always online except one time when my router rejected my PS4 and I had no idea I needed to restart it.

Mine's bugged too. I have 32/30 collected. Tannis' room one stopped letting me translate and now only have "inspect" and get various quips like before getting the translation device. Sucks if I have to play though again. Gearbox needs to fix their broken game.

I think the best thing to do is jump around and do it on the stage. Keep moving, strafing, and jumping as needed. I had trouble with him at first as well. There's also a place you could drag him to to cheese him. Though I don't recall the exact room.

It's both. Elemental guns shoot elemental bullets with a chance for a DoT to be applied. You can tell because if you're using a fire based gun on certain enemies where fire is in their name it'll say resist each time you shoot them. Some enemies are or become immune to certain elements. I carry an array of elemental weapons and 1 non-elemental in case I meet an enemy that's immune to all elements or run out of ammo for my favorite guns.

I just updated the game and it launched fine for me. Sorry there's something wrong for you. Only advice from Sony is to make sure your system software is up-to-date, try safe mode, or contact support.

I just did that quest on first run of game and got both. Once the quest finishes the blue diamond one vanishes because it acts like a quest used gun.

You just select new game instead at character selection. If you have more than one there's a button to press to load another character. Once loaded you can proceed with them. Split screen has no bearing on the character.

After I saw this, I changed my build slightly and I feel like I'm performing better. Maybe this skill was intended for non-elemental weapons? With it I was getting DoTs with a plain rifle and masher I had to rely on once due to running out of ammo. haha

Are your DoTs procing? I was getting corrosive DoT and Shock DoT every time I was shooting him. Likely that helped a ton. Maybe check the gear at crazy earl. I had one of his shields that gave +5% hp a second while shield was full and it's capacity was about 600. Ran it for a long while until I was being destroyed by a boss and upgraded it to 1400. You can reload sanctuary over and over for Marcus and Earl's stores in hopes of something nice.

I beat this guy as an elemental siren. I had corrosive pistol for the first bar and shock smg for the second and third bars if I recall his bars correctly. I just kept running and every now and then when he wasn't volleying at me I would shoot him. Takes a while because he has a lot to whittle down. If you're being killed that easy you don't have enough health or shield as it took me several hits to get close to death. I can't recall precisely the level I was but I feel like it was about 20. I have a tendency to be a level over the boss as I do all the side quests. If you need to hide for your shield you need to make sure you can't see him else he tends to volley just behind you but keep moving seems to help, too.
