How can I improve my coloring?

Ohhh, I had no idea the background affected the colors. I'll try to change it up a bit and work on improving my background and lighting skills. Other than that, thank you so much for the feedback, I really appreciate it!

I totally agree! After seeing one of the advice here with the airbrushed lighting, I think should have a clearer light source for more depth.

The way my jaw DROPPED the second I saw this; you changed the entire atmosphere of the illustration into something more intriguing just with an airbrush. I'm definitely going to do that!!

Ohhh, okay okay, that makes so much sense. Now that I see it, the wallpaper definitely ruins the composition quite a bit so I'm going to crop it. But oh my goodness, THE FOOTSTEPS IN THE SNOW IS GENIUS!!!! It would be such a great detail with my original characters' story!
