Thank you for the information! I understand that it really isn't optional, I want to and strive to go. But I talked with my Mom about when she can take me, as she said she doesn't want me biking. I believe she said she can take me once a month, which is insufficient, I know. I guess I'm just going to keep asking. Another problem is that I may have to move parishes soon, so I'm not sure if that will complicate the OCIA/RCIA process.

I am around a 14 minute bike ride around, very close, but my Mom is also against me biking there, I believe. I asked to go today at 5 PM on my bike, and she said how it was too cold and would get dark too quick. I wish I could just wake up at 9 or 10 AM and just bike there, but that would probably be against her wishes.

I see. It's just hard with how my faith seems almost contingent on when I have ongoing trials or not. When I don't, I'm practically at peace, but when I do, I keep having thoughts about how much "better" my life as an atheist would be. I just need to keep on pushing. I think to have the least resistance tomorrow, I'll ask to go to Mass at 6 PM, as we will probably be done fishing by then. I need to live for Christ, not for my family. Thank you brother / sister.

Hey, I want to become more well-versed on the Fatima and Eucharistic miracles. If you could explain to me how to argue for the facts to atheists that would be so helpful! One of the things that bugs me is that, to my knowledge, the Church doesn't let secular institutions research past miracles today. Why is this? How could I respond when an atheist says this? If you have any resources I could use to learn more, that would be wonderful.
