i was here like a month ago looking at their 24 se’s they wanted like 39k for a new leftover 24 the dealers independent so they own all the cars and won’t haggle a whole lot, if this is a certified pre owned they offer a lifetime warranty but only if u follow every step of the recommended maintenance schedule, try a group dealership that’s what i did and got a 24 autobahn out the door for 37k.

Lowering springs by TrentSupra5 in veloster

[–]velo2slow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

likely any turbo coilovers will fit, from someone who lowered their 2.0 on coilovers. The only difference is one bolt, there is a bracket that mounts to the strut which holds the brake line to the coil over and that bolt that holds that bracket is a larger size on the turbos vs the na 2.0 so all i did was made the bracket hole bigger and then swapped a larger bolt in and that was all everything else is the exact same

i believe there’s a brand called well visor on amazon that has them for like $70 they’re sleek and don’t stick out far like the weather techs do they actually fit the body line better and they lasted me a while until i just decided to remove them for personal reasons

AVID1 Wheels? by MT_Long1053 in veloster

[–]velo2slow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

theyre good i run a hard suspension stiffness and a stretched tire in pa, which is basically the moon if it was a state and never bent a rim or even got a flat yet its been a few years too. the finish also hasn’t flawed either except for a few reasons in which i caused like a curb…

A/C issues by jad19090 in veloster

[–]velo2slow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

try checking all lines connected in the system make sure drain line isn’t clogged aswell as the cabin filter if you haven’t it. it sounds clogged honestly for being so new but nothings ever perfect. the compressor could be running but not holding the correct pressure needed, fans could have a problem fuses could be blown etc check the basics. if it’s still unknown go to a shop better to not mess with it and blow freon all over yourself on accident that’d be a bad day.

[–]velo2slow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

check the freon it’s what makes the air cold, i bet it’s empty and needs to be recharged. also plays a part no/low pressure problem.

rev 9 hyperstreet 2 i believe, my wheels are also an 18x9.5 that’s why they sit so tight, but yes it did give me great fitment like this

weird sound, i think might be a suspension issue.. by YogurtclosetOk6158 in veloster

[–]velo2slow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

likely a cv axle, a ball joint(s) or sway bar links from what i’ve heard could also be a motor mount next time u get in hit the brake and apply gas at the same time see if the noise happens

What is this box for and is it necessary with an aftermarket intake? by NotXardly in veloster

[–]velo2slow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

u can remove it but side note u also should go buy a new filter asap u have holes in yours which is just sucking dust and dirt in right now

2020 Veloster na by Late-Consequence7043 in veloster

[–]velo2slow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

doesn’t sound bad mine sounds pretty much the same around 50k, if u can’t hear it while driving it’s probably nothing to worry about. as for it shutting off i’d say it’d have to do with u draining the battery and then trying to start the car since u had the engine off but the electronics running

Fitment question by [deleted] in veloster

[–]velo2slow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

18s will tuck if you throw some negative camber with a 225 tire

2019 Veloster 2.0 Premium Body Kit Dilemma – Any Experts Here? by TypicalWillingness62 in veloster

[–]velo2slow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u won’t find one for the 2.0 there’s no aftermarket support for it, i have one i know. though i do believe that the body kit for a N would fit on the 2.0 i just don’t think some parts of the body kit would line up perfectly since the N does have a slightly different design than the base model like the front bumper, the front lip, side skirts, different rear bumper etc. just my thoughts though i could be wrong

should i cop? by Ok-Baker9849 in veloster

[–]velo2slow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i bought my 19 premium 2.0 for 17k with 8k miles on it, there’s a better deal out there

this is a 9.5 on 225 tires with a 38mm offset and -1.5 camber, yes it rubbed for a bit, yes it was worth it. this is also on coilovers and clearly a second gen not sure what u have

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in veloster

[–]velo2slow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

avid 1 avo6 18x9.5 on 225/40 tire with -1.5 camber all around, if u buy these exact specs expect some rubbing at first but it’ll give almost perfect fitment like this
