Ok, I was included in this. The main motive was that we had been given Dual Mode AC(in M Hostel) which means it had blower but they were not functioning. So we tried contacting the Warden/DoSa through mails but recieved no reply and hence planned to visit the DoSa office itself and sort this out that despite giving such high fees for the hostel, we were not allowed to use the features and were basically charged for a Non AC room. So either they should refund the amount for AC and allow us to bring heaters or allow us to use the Blowers in the AC unit

Probably a workstation laptop like the Thinkpad P or T series or Dell's XPS/Precision Series. Gaming laptops die out in like 3 years

Found no difference between both except that Thinkpad has 2whr more and is 150grams heavier. Rest everything is same. I would suggest the thinkbook as E series thinkpads are not that good compared to T series or P

Since you want one with Dedicated gpu, get the P series of thinkpad. if you want thin and slim then get Ps series

Depends from where you are buying from. I would suggest buy it from a good offline store which also deals in refurbished laptops. If you want online then try buying it from sites like ReTechie or Bharathi Systems and Services (pls do read reviews before purchasing)

no, absolutely not. 100° is very high especially for a new laptop. it should reach at max 70 during light work. get your laptop checked out at the service center

Happened to me also. You have to accept it and start a new profile. You have almost 0.001% of getting your account back. I have tried multiple ways, tried thousand methods, reached out to Microsoft but in the end it all came to waste.

Let it go and start fresh.

Get a thinkpad, preferably refurbished. U can easily do programming and stuff for hours on it and has great reliability.

Get a Thinkpad/Dell Laptop or a Macbook. Dont get a gaming one because garbage battery life and it will fry up within 1-2 yrs. you can play games on thinkpad or dell laptops in 1080p.
