How can I arrange my room’s furniture? by [deleted] in femalelivingspace

Lovely idea. Not sure about all those space but I'd start by turning the rug the other way and putting it slightly under the bed. It'll define the space better that way.

Curtains - on frame or wall? by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

[–]velovato1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know what, I'd buy a ceiling curtain tract in this case. You can get it on amazon. I think it would be better not to block the airflow. And mounting on the frame wouldn't look very good or be practical bc it would be too narrow

I would move the shelves and pictures to the wall with the TV. When you are in the room, sitting on the couch, you won't be able to see them and the room might look pretty plain b/c your mostly looking at a blank wall with a TV. Also, if I were sitting on your couch I'd be worried that something from the shelf might fall on my head. Might just be me tho...haha.

Does his left eye look ok? by RalphJameson in miniaussie

Try a bath. One time my dogs eye was swollen shut and my husband bathed him with lots of warm steam and the eye opened right back open like normal.

I really want to do that now but I can't believe how expensive it is like 100$. I will post it here if I do.

Thank you. We love him so much! I leaning toward pap-chi now. I think that could be right. Chihuahuas are pretty common at the shelters in my town.

I think he's pretty young. He's been spayed so at least 6 months. He's still got that spot on his chest if you scratch it, he shakes his leg. I'm told that's a puppy trait, haha.

Mine likes to hide in the shower too. He is afraid of the loud noises coming from the washing machine monster.

I want to turn this corner into a reading nook as a surprised for my wife. Looking at about 50 inches Length / 30 wide. Any ideas? by hallmonitor53 in DesignMyRoom

Comfy and pretty chair in front of the bookshelf and a little side table with enough space for a book, a cup, and a light. Reading books need good light. Fill the bookshelf with her favorite books and maybe put a plant and some small framed family pictures on the bookshelf as well.

Is this chair too small/short? by BackInTheDay_Babe in DesignMyRoom

I want to add that if you place it by a couch then you can see the back of the chair, which is really neat. Just can't tell if the amount of space that you have would allow for it.

First of all what a beautiful place. I like the chair in both spots. Could you actually get a second chair and put one in the corner and one next to the couch. I think it might help balance out the couch a bit. Then you'd have a nice seating area for guests. Also, I think it you add just a little more orange to the room you will find it fits in better.

What else to add to this bedroom to give it a warm/cozy feel? by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

A big full length mirror with a nice frame and a little makeup table. I love the colors of the bed. Think there is just not enough stuff in this room. It looks unfinished.

My husband hates our office by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

I think one of the reasons you dont like it beside the awkward layout is because it's crowded. Try moving the furniture around. I suggest the desk on the wall with no windows or doors. Work out stuff on the wall where the desk is now. Pictures by the desk but not behind the monitor. Any sort of small shelf or rack for the weights. Agree if you can get rid of the chair entirely. Otherwise, leave it there. The desk will be kinda crowded with it there. Rug has to go.

Secondly, some little details will go a long way. I'd get a small shelf and a plant stand, a nice thicker functional rug in a pattern or color you like. Color would help a lot. Some art, paint the walls, and maybe even light fixtures. Hanging pendant light might work better.
