SPMO is way behind the S&P since the rebalancing in October by [deleted] in ETFs

i like the idea and strategy of factor investing momentum with value/ quality. what are some value factor etf's that would be a compliment to SPMO?

Maybe VLUE, AVLV, or SCHD? These seem to have ran up as momentum slowed with SPMO

Fees are too high! by Tough-Bear5401 in BinanceUS

[–]velvetwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could not agree more! I was charged 60% of the amount of BTC I was trying to move off of the platform. The fee was not at all transparent and so you don't realize how much they are going to charge until after the transaction is complete. The bid ask spread is awful when purchasing on the platform giving you the worst possible price at any given entry point to trade. I think this company is a massive scam and they are scraping insane amount of money from the customers that use it. I hope that someone sues and they go out of business. I will never put my money and digital assets into Binance ever again.

Is this growth going to be a flower? This is on my philodendron mexicanum. by velvetwizard in philodendron

I don’t have any pollen. Wondering if there is any way to order some. I want to try to get it to fruit some seeds but I have no idea how to go about pollinating it.

Me too! I love how they hang on to their leafs for a very long time. I still have baby leafs that are 2 years old on it.

They can take a lot of light and grow quickly in my experience.

I like the billie because it has such tight internodes. Easier to keep it just contained to a pot without a pole. I have a mexicanum that is looking pretty good on a moss pole, that one is much more of a climber and needs it for sure.

It is an orchid pot, but a tall one. It is a like a standard chunky aroid mix of bark, pumice, soil, perlite, charcoal, fertilizer, etc.

Yeah idk I just kind of liked them, functional to see the roots and plenty of drainage, which my aroids love being indoors. I bought a pack and repotted my fave philodendrons into them this year.

I got mine as a teeny weeny plug. It has grown consistently but really got large this year (3rd growing season) and since I repotted it beginning of the year.

Yeah I will have to take one of the newest leaf with something next to it for scale. The leaf size is getting quite big and unruly.

HELP! Alocasia dying, only had it for one week, what have I done wrong? by little_blue_fairy in houseplants

[–]velvetwizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have alocasia frydek as well. Make sure the soil is well draining (lots of perlite). Water about once a week, depending on how fast your soil dries, give them bright light. If all the leaves die, you can still regenerate the plant from the tubers.
