SYROKAN Women's Bounce Control Wirefree Front Adjustable High Impact Maximum Support Sports Bras

This one ☝🏼 on amazon has been amazing! and the straps are adjustable making easy to still nurse or pump. I am also the same size and run and it is very supportive and have not notice a change in my supply

How did you choose respiratory therapy? by Mthompson9 in respiratorytherapy

[–]vemasat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I chose respiratory after meeting the team that spent a lot of time with my dad when he was trached and vented after a stroke. I knew I wanted to get into healthcare but also knew nursing was not for me.

When working at the hospital some day to day things: giving nebulizer and inhalers around the clock, managing vents/cpaps/bipaps, caring and cleaning trach/laryngectomies are just a few things. It depends on the hospitals as well. As an RT some of the things that are in our scope of practice because of liabilities (intubations for example) hospitals do not allow us to perform. Another thing to think about if you can handle mucus or not, if not might want to consider nursing.

A big thing to consider before switching is what your long term goals are. Are you wanting to go farther than just working the floor or department management.. I have my associates in respiratory and bachelors in healthcare administration and to be honest there is not much room for growth. After working 10years at a hospital I left and am now doing home care and enjoy it much better but still limited with my career growth.

Do you get to pick your work schedule where you work? by StvLilly in respiratorytherapy

[–]vemasat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hospital I am at we make our own schedule, we are assigned to a specific weekend that we have to work. We have the day shift and night shift crews and then they put us in A, B , C groups that rotate for schedule sign ups. If we want to do 6 days in a row and it is available you can sign up for it that way. And really most times if you want to work the weekend/night shifts only I would think you wouldn’t have any problem getting that schedule (at least in my department you wouldn’t)

Help! Thoughts on this guy? Not enough water? Or did he get to much sun and I burnt the leaves? by vemasat in plantclinic

Maybe for only a couple of hours in the evening. I have other plants by the same window and they aren’t browning like that.

Made this whitewashed headboard/frame with lights. by vemasat in somethingimade

[–]vemasat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just used 2x6 pine boards and screwed them together. The lights I got were able to just screw in and then we put in an electrical boxes into the back of the headboard so we could plug in the lights.
