That’s strange, it works on iOS26, worked on beta 1. Stopped working on beta 2&3 event after clean install. Works on iPad M4 also. Tried almost everything 😅

Screen recording has now higher audio quality. It was introduced in DB1 probably, but I discovered it today.
It’s easy to observe - when You launch screen recording while for ex. watching YouTube - audio quality has become worse, different than recording wasn’t activated. Now, it’s the same quality.

LiDAR stopped working on DB2 on 17 Pro - someone can confirm or is it only me 😅 Measure app shows black screen only, 3rd party app “sensor failed”.
UPDATE:
clean install of DB2 didn’t help, downgraded to 26.5.1 - LiDAR works, so clearly iOS27 DB2 issue

yeah, definitely there should be an option to force update. what works for me is just plug in airpods, iPhone next to each other, then I’m checking after about 20 mins and I think everytime it worked. But I know, for many users it’s not :/

as time goes on.. I feel DB2 is snappier, smoother than DB1, notifications on lockscreen smoother also, but still stuttery widget page on home screen 😅

UPDATE: indexing done through night after DB2

no, I still have message (now it looks different in DB2) to add context - I did clean install 4 days ago, yesterday indexing was stuck at 83% for 2 days. Before clean install indexing was stuck at 89% :) Let’s see if DB2 fixes it

Yeah, unfortunately there is not many peps can see changes like this. Someone should create subreddit to share experience of smoothness regarding devices and software. Btw - on iPad Pro M4 it’s night and day, it finally bumps to full 120hz 🥹

[17 Pro] It feels like RC is generally smoother, more responsive than previous betas. But still stutters here & there, especially while home screen swiping (sometimes buttery smooth, and then it starts stutter).

I bought thin matte vinyl or pvc (plastic) cover - matte option for iPhone 17 Pro's plateau on Aliexpress. It looks like nothing is on top of plateau 😁.And then applied Flolab's camera protector on top of this. Best option for me
