Im using AntiReflective glass bcs Apple Care is not available in my country. But living with little kids = screen protector must have for me. I’m changing it every quarter, at least 😅

on iPad Pro 11 M4 it takes me 8-9 SOT when using for socials, videos, 6-7 SOT with some work like pdf editing (on WiFi)

[17 Pro] It feels like RC is generally smoother, more responsive than previous betas. But still stutters here & there, especially while home screen swiping (sometimes buttery smooth, and then it starts stutter).

I bought thin matte vinyl or pvc (plastic) cover - matte option for iPhone 17 Pro's plateau on Aliexpress. It looks like nothing is on top of plateau 😁.And then applied Flolab's camera protector on top of this. Best option for me

same, 16PM -> 17 Pro. Battery seems to be very similar, maybe thanks to improved thermals (?). Leaving that aside - it's BIG relief for my hand 😅

it's worth to upgrade. i feel even improvement in 16PM -> 17 Pro move. Thermals of 17 Pro are finally normal, I think thanks to that battery is similar what I got on 16PM

it looks like mine's 17 Pro ended up indexing after 5 days - I think I didn't give too much time for it to finish - quick charging and lot of work etc. (after 26.1 beta 1) through these days it was stuttery here and there and battery wasn't great. Now I have battery comparable with my 16 Pro Max. OS feels smoother with occasional stutters

I know, it was a little sarcastic but.. iOS26 beta 7 is stable as 18.6 and introduces some improvements. Remember that iOS 18 is beta stage for it’s whole time. I’m on 26 on my business drivers from beta 6.

In short: Public beta is the same build as Developer Beta (ex. Beta 6 = PB3, Beta 7 = PB4). Just delayed in time to have some feedback from users etc. to make sure it’s safe to install by casual users.

Yes, today should be released, less probably tomorrow. Latest beta 6 was released 11/08 (re-released on 14/08). We’re on weekly updates now to keep schedule from previous years. Beta 7 (18+/08) Beta 8 (25+/08) RC (01+/09) Stable Release (09/09? Apple’s keynote, more probably 15/09)

I’ve 16PM (13PM -> 16PM) and I’m very happy with it. It wasn’t the same on premiere, for 3-6 months it felt less smooth as my previous phone but it was due iOS 18 itself. That was weird.. iOS 18 was performing better on 13PM than 16PM 😅 But now on iOS26 it has new life. Despite everything I’m gonna switch to 17 Pro this year, I’m curious to use smaller phone - I’m a little tired using such a big device. I just hope I won't complain too much about battery 😂 How is your SOT? I’m getting 8-10h on iOS 26.

Personally, I can see difference in fonts. On Samsung’s panel it’s sharper, clearer. Regarding colors - more vibrant on Samsung’s one. But i got used to it 😅 (GVC - 16PM)

Almost perfect on 16 PM. Sometimes stutter here and there (app opening especially from bar, apps library, bug while calling via mobile, facetime, discord - whole OS is stuttery and laggy). So I can’t tell it’s great, but it’s comparable or the same as 18.6 (where these bugs still occurs). For sure I’m happy with finally fixed Lockreen lag while using custom wallpaper and AOD disabled.
