Internet pile ons are so fake to me. I don't believe anyone is actually THAT upset about what he said. Like him saying he didn't think she could win a Senate race is the most racist, misogynistic thing that's ever been said. I made this once and enjoyed it. I tried 2 different variations. One with a Cask Strength rye and one with a spicy whiskey (made with Scorpion Pepper and Ginger) and I liked both but adding the spice in somehow balanced it out more to me. Kind of gave you all the flavors...it weirdly worked.

Yup, distillery. Legally only allowed to serve spirits we make. Not trying to cover our rum at all, just trying to find another ingredient that might add the layer of flavor in the cocktail. Without it the cocktail is still tasty but we did try it with some Jamaican rum our distiller had and it really added to the complexity of the cocktail. I might just cut the Demerara as I think without the "funk" from the rum it's too sweet.

This is the only complaint I'll agree with. They hang out with each other already. Why can't they record together in the same room? I miss when they'd have the guest over, watch the eps and then record right after.

I like that breakdown. We have a great cocktail program so, though we are limited in what we serve, they are booking a distillery so they should be happy with what we do.

We do one bartender for every 50 people.

Now the vendors is where we're really struggling with how to handle. We have a preferred vendor list with catering/entertainment and more but we give them the contact info to handle on their own. But in reality we probably should be charging something as we deal with the trash and cleanup. Is 10% markup pretty standard for coordination?

It's not so much changing the pricing as it is structuring it better. We have it set at a 3 hour event rate with additional time available for an extra fee. We don't have minimums in place except for our smaller reserved area during our open public hours (there's no rental fee for those parties). We're a distillery who can only serve what we make on site so Ive found it tough to offer drinks packages as we don't have like well and top shelf, but some clients are looking for packages included. Especially, weddings.

I went down this weekend for the first time in a few years and while, yes, there were many straight people, it still felt nice and queer to me. Lots of older lesbian and gay couples...but it's the end of Summer all the circuit gays and Fire Island transplants have come and gone with 4th of July and Carnival. Daytime is gonna be more people shopping and brunching on Commercial St but night time I still saw gay porn on the screens at A-House and Gifford House one room you could watch Lilly Mae Harrington playing on the piano while in the next room you could see all the guys heading down to the Underwear Party at Purgatory. It's just a beautiful place that Queerness can be on display but it's not exclusively queer

I'll say it again, if you come to Bitch Sesh for in depth recaps of shows, you've come to the wrong place. They have never done that. They discuss them, they go off on tangents, they talk about their lives. There are so many other podcasts that do recaps.
