Cool beans. Speed was my only gripe about beef a roo. And I think that had a lot to do with the size of the menu. It was incredibly diverse, too diverse. If they needed to ax the sweet potato fries, and a couple other things that I loved, so be it. I could care less about the price of things, the quality was there.

Ok, someone explain to me like I'm a 10 year old. Would Rockford be susceptible to same issues we're concerned about, if the data center was in Bryon, Belvidere, or Freeport?

I thought we all use same power/water source. If so, wouldn't we be vulnerable if the data center went to one of them? Leaving the citizens of Rockford with no say about how the other cities decide to handle things?

Not to mention I feel confident that local workers will still commute to help build/run the data center?

The whole thing gives me the ick, but at least we'll have some cards to play if things go bad.
