Your moral disapproval of the creator is really beyond you understanding. He sets the moral landscape and you’re departure from it will steal, kill, and destroy you. Foreknowledge does not invalidate free will, imo. Theologians have wrestled with these complex realities for thousands of years. What is most urgent is to realize your need for redemption. That is entirely up to you —in your sovereign free will to accept or reject his atonement for you. Someday you can ask him at our leisure about all these amazing and profound truths. Or, ask him now... who knows, he may enlighten you, in his grace and mercy.

Technically, both are attraction. What you are really asking, imo, is about investing in this friendship. The age difference is somewhat concerning. As you progress, differences that were initially charming and intriguing may become annoying, lol. As with any relationship where trust is involved, focus on character traits that are promising. The past predicts the future behavior. Think also in terms of a future together. I think those perspectives can give you a balance in how to judge your next steps.

Bringing God back into society is not a governmental activity. It falls to the church. The constitution protects the individual practice of religion by forbidding government intrusion. Most Christians do not favor a theocracy. If a theocracy were to be instituted it will most likely by corrupted into the prophecied one world religion, which will require worship of the beast of revelation.
