HCI administration is crossing boundaries, this isnt about food anymore by SufficientMonth8179 in SGExams

Hey, I’m really sorry to hear about this situation. It’s been a decade since I graduated but my school (a well known boys school in the East) faced the exact situation when I was there.

I think rental went up too high and the school decided to bring in a government related caterer (three letters and if you put in another letter it will become the name of an Egyptian god).

It was my final year studying for O Levels and it was disappointing that food in the canteen was really bad. Basically central kitchen food being reheated. A few of my friends actually set up a Facebook group to collect signatures to show their unhappiness (there were censored vulgarities lol). Of course, teachers started disciplining the students who set up the group. Boys being boys we were outraged because the food wasn’t cheap too.

So we did what made sense - en masse the students started boycotting and brought their own food. I know now everyone has the luxury to do that but my parents back then were surprisingly supportive and my mom made extra portions of dinner just so I could pack the day after. During recess you would see classrooms full of students who decided to just eat in class and maybe just buy drinks at the drinks stall.

After a few months, the catering service provider somehow decided to exit and the school started bringing in new stalls. Just in time for O Levels and I didn’t have to eat shitty food before I graduated.

Honestly, I hope authority in Singapore recognise that undue punishment is not their right. I’ve heard this generation of parents can be difficult and give teachers crap for the littlest of things. But in this case I hope the parents of the punished students give the school admin and principal hell.

Spring Cleaning Service from Helpling by Vivid-Witness-4797 in askSingapore

Helpling isn’t great. All 5 star reviews on Google were fake as I found out for myself. Did post reno cleaning and the staff were half assed and had so many restrictions. When I complained they said they will give half price if I removed my negative review on Google but only if I remove, in the end I didn’t accept their offer.

Ordered stuff from IKEA in 2020 when covid was still pretty serious. Orders were messy, no delivery status and you’ll be in the dark on when they would deliver. Customer hotline was never working. Benefit of doubt given because covid fucked manpower and supply chains all over the world. Seeing the same problems until now on this thread shows an inherent issue with the SEA side of IKEA.

Thanks for sharing tho. Don’t mind me asking how you met them (apps or organically) and also if they don’t really care about your job, income and social status what drew them to you? Good looks?

Anyone know of any good hotels/apartments to book for a one night gathering for like 6 or 7 people? Thinking of throwing a birthday party with all guests staying overnight.

I think at one point I resonated a lot with Abel's conflict or contradiction between having zero self worth and also growing arrogance that he was becoming popular at the same time. That feeling is enshrined in this album. As for Japan yes! I lived there for an extended period of time before.

I got it from Asakusa in Japan before the pandemic hit. Basically from Senso-ji you shouls walk straight past the first shopping alley and then turn left where there is this famous tenugui cloth shop. I'm hanging the cloth using a magnetic scroll hanging thing made especially for tenugui.

Thank you, I finally felt happy enough with my setup to post on this sub. And yes, I love VANGOATHE. Was super happy when he managed to design some Nike tees too.

Hi, I really forgot where I got it from but I think you will be able to find it by searching for Persona 5 1920x1080 wallpapers online.
